Raw Thoughts

Well, I'm not going to go crazy, but overall I thought this week's broadcast was a good job for the most part by the RAW team. Here are my thoughts:


-I kind of felt sorry for Richards that he had to get killed like that, because I think he is underrated. However, Chris Masters for the first time showed some in-ring ability and it's nice to see. His mic work is ok, so I think WWE may just have something here with this guy, but I'll reserve full judgment until I see more of him.

-Christian's air time was short but effective. Lets hope he can actually pick up some wins now. SD! would be a good move for him.

-The ECW funeral was awesome. Eric and Vince were ok, but then the ultimate promo man Paul Heyman showed up and spoke nothing but the truth once again. I'm really getting into this ECW PPV, I just hope they don't have too much non-ECW bullshit going on that takes away from the ECW guys.

-Y2J and Benjamin is interesting. I like the way they are handling this with both men. Too bad Hassan & Diavari have been put on the back burner (that fucker Hogan).

-Edge & Batista was good. I don't really like either of them but the match played out nicely. I'm interested in a Kane-Edge feud to be honest. I'm also interested to see if Batista can handle a long PPV match like the one he has in store for him. I know Triple H will bring it, but I'm still not sure about Dave. On a side note, I didn't exactly say I want Triple H to come out on top of this, but it wouldn't bother me if he did.

-Viscera was funny again, but he can't just come out and do the same shit every week. WWE needs to get creative an see what else Vis is capable of with his new character.

-And finally, Anyone who says RAW is better off without Triple H is retarded. Was it nice for him to be off tv for a little while? yes. But, we all know that the show needs him in the long-term so don't act like it doesn't.

Yeah, I know Triple H is a star. There is no doubt about it. Hes a great promo and produces great matches. But we've seen this exact scenario too many times before. Flair s going face, wait, wait, no Flair low blows. Out comes Triple H and the third member of Evolution, Mr. Sledge. Beatdown then ensues until Hunter comes up with a stipulation (usually Hell in A Cell). I want to see something fresh in the main event. Not just Hunter.

BTW, I probably watch too much Disney, but when Vince was talking to Eric i thought he was going to say, "Eric.....I killed Mufasa!"

I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.

Pros -

Quite enjoyed the Vinny, Bischoff, Heyman bit. Everyone keeps saying this is the 1st time they were ever in the ring together. Why am I thinking this happened before with Heyman and Bischoff getting into a lame ass rolling on the floor brawl. Have I dreamt this? If so, I'm worried!!

Enjoying the change in character for Jericho

Laughed at Christian with his Jindrak comments. Mishead it originally and thought Tomko said "What's a Mark Jindrak" and thought....that would actually have been even funnier.

Chris Masters in an okay (I said okay not good) match with Stevie. Thought the heat (and it was negligible) was taken off it straight away though by having Masters dominate the early going.

Maria being on my TV. I love her dumb dumb ass. She's horny and yet makes me smile everytime I see her (for the "The Edge" comment to HBK a few weeks back) therefore the perfect woman.

Edge & Lita. Hell this is a business, time to move on. They're playing off real heat which is shameful, however it will help them cement the upper card place he needs. At least he's not whinging and moaning every week now.

Cons

Hunter (I know he is the star of the show!!) coming back after walking off after missing just one bloody show....too soon man!!

Flair turns on Big Dave. Please please WWE stop doing this Flair turns face, Flair turns heel bit on the same show once every month. It would actually be more of a shock to me now if the didn't go face, then turn again immediately.

Viscera. Sorry I'm still one of the few here that doesn't mark out for a huge guy dry humping another guy and harrassing women and eating hotdogs. I have tried, but still don't see the point in wasting so much creativity on a guy that ultimately will end up in matches and lo and behold.......it's still just King Mabel and he sucks!!

Kane. Seen it all before just slightly different each time. Kane is a monster, Kane's not a monster. Kane wants to be loved. Kane wants to be left alone. Boring.

Benoit & Tajiri. Only complaint is that time only allowed less than 5 minutes. That sucked.

Oh and another point. If I ever met Lita, and she wanted to get it on with me (unlikely I know!!) I would have to ask if we could cut to the sex without any kissing beforehand. She looks to be the worst kisser in the world.

this is exactly how i feel.
I taped raw and watched chunks of it but fast forwarded thru the rest.
Christian was great.
I felt awful for Stevie but I suppose it's nice to actually see Masters doing something productive for a change.
I fast forwarded through Edge/Lita/Kane, and through Viscera, I think it's better that way.
As for HHH, were any of you really surprised he's back already? I wasn't. I like HHH a lot, but I get sick of it when he talks 20+ mins a show, at least he didn't talk last night and so that was something.
And the so called ECW match was way too short.

Had to look into this because I was sure I was right and, what do you know, I was wrong!!!

I was thinking of the 2004 Royal Rumble when Heyman attacked Bischoff in the ring (hahaha!!), it was Austin and not McMahon that was with them.

I knew they were definitely on a show together (all 3 of them though), that was when they did the draft last year and they were both GM's up on the stage, Vince was there for a while too but they weren't all in the ring together!!

Just thought people would like to know that if you look in depth at anything I say on here, it is complete crap!!

I think the only reason triple H is still around is because he married the boss's daughter. That man is a coward, I have never seen him show any courage at all. When ever there is a chance for him to fight he turns tail and runs like the coward that he is. If I never saw him again it would not bother me.
