So he already had one, now he has been granted a second. If they don't do something fantastic with this it'll be a waste of a whole fucking tournament.

My favorite idea is the one where he fights Batista back-to-back, but beats the shit out of him between the two matches

I'll stick with my post on the positivity thread early this month, copied below -

"And also that my greatest ever booking idea is used by Steph and the team (i.e Edge wins the gold rush tourney and a second title shot. He uses the title shot at the next Raw PPV. He loses to Batista, however as Batista celebrates he smashes Batista with a chairshot. He continues beating Batista down all over the ring, outside and in, using all sorts of garbage. Batista is bloody and broken in the middle of the ring. Edge then gets on the house mic and calls out Eric Bischoff, all the while still beating down Batista who is semi conscious. Edge insists that he would like to utilise his second guaranteed world title shot. Bischoff agrees and tells him he hopes Batista is ready for tomorrow night on Raw. Edge tells him he is having his 2nd title shot right now, not tomorrow night. Bischoff grudgingly nods to the ref....Edge beats Batista a little more then drops to the floor for the three count.....just as he does and with the crowd booing.....cue Matt Hardy's entrance music. LOL I know a lot of you guys will hate that!!!)"

oh ok nvm. i misread your first post. i thought you meant cue hardy AFTER the three count.

It couldent happen at the next PPV because the title match is for this Monday so I think he will use the contract for a rematch at the PPV (unless thats what you ment) after losing this monday which is ZZZZZZZZZZZZ *boring*

No, no , no no, no, no. I'm not sure what is gonna happen this monday but I'll bet my house that Edge doesn't get the title match at the PPV...

I'm thinking Edge gets cost the match by Kane and it becomes Edge vs. Kane at the ppv and Triple H comes back and gets the shot at Batista. Then Edge gets his 2nd shot at a later time or maybe even gets drafted to SD! and loses the shot all together. Who wit me?

My comments were, as they said, pasted across from another thread at the beginning of May. At that time, we didn't know Gold Rush main event wasn't going to be on PPV.

i really like bulldog's idea the best. seriously, it would be great. i mean sure they probably couldnt use hardy, but Kane would work just fine as well in that storyline. Batista is a bloody mess after edge uses his 2nd shot, edge covers him for the three, and BOOM.... flames everywhere aaaand here comes the big red retard. imagine the pop that would get!
