I bought the book too. Man I was bored that day off away from the parks in Florida last year!!!
I'm sure Crock'll give you his opinion too, for me it came across like the guy desperately wanted to write exactly like Mick Foley had but came up short. He just doesn't have the experiences to use, plus when Mick is self deprivating it comes over as sincere. When Edge does it, it comes across that he just wants you to then say "no Edge, you're great really"!!
