I have to admit..when I first heard they were going to do this..I was like "nooooooo!!!!". I wanted the legacy of ECW to stay as is and remain untouched by WWE.

But then I bought the ECW DVD and now that it's getting closer to this PPV I'm becoming really intrigued by it. I hope Heyman has a lot of input but even still, I think I'm really considering on ordering this event.

On a scale of 1-10 my interest level for this PPV is at about a 7 right now, and could get even higher the closer it gets to the event..

Did Crock say we get this one free (well free to an extent!!!) over here?

If we get it without additional purchase, I'll watch it, if we have to pay anything extra, I'll read about it!!!

I only really want to watch Masata Tanaka to see if he can still go like he did a few years back. Oh yes, and Beulah to see if I'd still like her to go like I know she could have a few years back!!

I'm into both of them. You didn't like Beulah??? (Tommy Dreamer is one lucky MoFo).

So I don't get accused of "straying off subject" it should also be said that in that Raven interview I copied elsewhere, another part of it had him saying it's kind of ironic how ECW still seems to be growing in popularity now!! The PPV numbers on this show will make very interesting reading.

You can stray all you want..I created the thread..lol

But anyway, you are right..we shall stay on the subject of ECW PPV. You think they are gonna have insane matches and burning tables and all that shit? I'm wondering how far WWE will let their contract stars go..

I'd think they may well have those kind of matches, and their own "stars" may be in them matches, but it would be wiser to get any sick bumps done by talent that isn't their own.

I hope Taz(z) gets in the ring on this one. Not for an actual match, but in an angle.

These goofy bastards will be bumping all over the place. And you morons (kind folks) will buy it up like rabbits. Wrestlers who bump = wrestlers who get a reaction = wrestlers who get a WWE contract and get money for food.

As Ida said elsewhere, it will be very interesting to see who gets picked up at the end of this. Surely there will be a few ECW guys. Maybe they'll do an ECW stable. It would be a great idea, so great that WWE will completely mess it up.

True on many points. I know you don't always watch much of the wrestling Miakal, you may remember they did an ECW stable before. It looked fantastic with Heyman in the ring surrounded by his ECW talent.

Then Stephanie strutted out as their new owner!!! A really good fit that one!!!

I do remember that moment. In fact, it was about that time I turned it off for good.

Nothing says extreme and hardcore wrestling to me like Stephanie McMahon.

Hopefully she has nothing to do with this. I would be curious to see how this event goes. I'm not sure I would order it though. Mike Awesome is Awesome, however.

Seeing Masata Tanaka is probably worth the admission alone. If I still watched wrestling I would order it, certainly.
