Why does this guy have the U.S. Title? He never defends it..

Plus, he's not very charasmatic, and his in-ring ability while decent, is certainly nothing to be excited over. I understand he is a member of the cabinet but who cares? He's been losing non-title matches to Cena..


The U.S. Title needs to go around someone's waist who will either A) bring the title back to respectability or B) give that person a boost up the card..

I think Carlito or Rey Mysterio would be good choices...WWE is nuts if OJ holds the title much longer.

What is the deal with CCC? Is he hurt still? I dont think he should get the US gold yet. Show me he is durable enough to hold the title for more than 1 match.

I would like to see someone else besides OJ though.

Hes still recovering, but working house shows against mark jindrak (the living legend that he is) to remove that ring rust. he is close to 100 per. but he'll be back.

I think OJ has only defended the belt like 5 times, and like you said Y2joey I think Haas would be a good champ if he had a decent gimmick.

OJ should never have gotten the belt. He sucks so much in my opinion. All I see him ever do is punch and punch. That's all he does besides that weird taunt of his.

If they would've given Orlando a finishing move and had JBL retained at Wrestlemania, I would be fine with OJ having the US title. But, now that he's still a champion and JBL isn't, it makes JBL's status as head of the stable seem weak. OJ should've dropped the belt before JBL dropped his - plain and simple.

At this point, Orlando is doing nothing for the belt and vice-versa. I'm big on CCC, but want him to actually spend some time in the ring as a non-champion, since he won the title in his debut match and lost it when he got injured - I don't find him a credible champion from an experience standpoint. I like Charlie Haas's work, but he does desperately need come character development. Rey would be a good candidate for the title, but they've been kind of teasing him being a main event contender. Maybe once he's done with his storyline with Eddie, they'll give him a run. Other than those three guys, there really aren't many people on Smackdown that I'd like to see with the strap. Sad, huh?
