Thats probably the whole point... a basic move that you'd think wouldnt be too hard to escape.

Im not saying the gimmick is working or anything, But i can see what their aiming for

The move itself doesn't bother me, it's when they call it the masterlock that's retarded. I always hated that about WWE. Same moves different names.

Power Bomb
Jacknife
Batista Bomb

Same shit different pile.

Walls of Jericho pisses me off too. At least when he did it with the knee in the back it was slighty different than a boston crab.

Maybe the violent shaking motion is why it's the "masterlock".

Masters could be decent but this gimmick makes him look like a tool no doubt.

I was going to mention the whole "Walls is only a Boston Crab, Tombstone is only a piledriver etc" type diatribe but your fully aware of all that.

I think him doing that shit to that woman at backlash last night was a bit of needed boost to his heat. The only thing is, who will win the challenge.. and what happens to Masters once the hold has been broken?

Same as how Rodney Mack was fucked as soon as he lost a white boy challenge

"Take a seat sir" haha. There is only so many moves in wrestling and I don't see what the big deal with a wrestler giving his finisher or submission move a name of it's own. What is the big deal? It added to the whole character of the whole thing. Why have gimmicks then or even pretend it is real in the sense that they look hurt or whatever?

Why not just have everything the same boring name and we go back to the 80's and just have nothing but jobber matches after jobber matches on Raw and ....you see my point. Things have to be spruced up for the character.

Valid point. I guess it pissed me off being that I kept hearing about the masterlock and only saw it for the first time the other day and was expecting more than a full nelson.
