What do you think they should have done with the women's division
here's my opinion
They should have kept some of the women that they had, and brought up a few
Trish- Super hot, and a really good wrestler
Victoria- Again she's hot, and also a good wrestler
Molly Holly- They should have kept her she was good looking, and one of the best women's wrestlers
Nidia- Was decent looking, and wasnt horrible in the ring. Especially considering she wasn't wrestling till the end.
Gail Kim- Pretty good in the ring, and looked hot to me.
Lita- Some think she's hot, and she could come back from injury and be in the mix
Angel Williams- Dont know how she's in the ring, but she wrestles, and is hot
Alexis Laree- She's also hot and from OVW. She's got a rep of being a good wrestler.
There you go eight wrestlers that would have made the women's division watchable... They could also develop decent feuds, and such
I'm not sure what WWE is thinking with the Women's division.
Now, I've been a supporter of the Women's division in the past and hated when Gail Kim was fired to bring in worhtless divas. However, I think it was a mistake on my part to really get worked up over it. I mean, the only real reason I wanted it to work was because I'm a huge fan of Trish. If they didn't have Trish I probably would have said something like "scrap the whole fucking thing who cares."
I feel at this point there is no way that the crowd is going to give a shit about a Women's division. There aren't 8 or 9 Trish's running around from what I can see. It's a bunch of worthless women who are only capable of getting guys off.
Anyway you look at it they aren't going to put in enough time into the division to make it watchable.
I just hope Trish can find a way to survive because she really is well liked and gets pretty good reactions anywhere she goes. Lita used to get that sort of response, but I think there will be a copycat thing going on with fans treating her like they did at MSG.
I agree sort of. I mean I dont know I just dont think they can scrap the title totally. That is kind of an interesting idea putting Trish in Evolution though. Being that she's the most dominating women in history basically..
Well, the womens' division is already dead now. They should have put more effort into the storylines the women had, so people would be more interested about the matches. Hell, they should put more storylines behind the men's matches too. They should give the wrestlers reasons for wrestling~
I really think WWE is misguided in its perception of what the audience wants in regard to its Divas. Sure, fans pop for the hot non-wrestlers like Torrie and Stacy, but that's because, well, they're hot. However, in addition to that, they are distinctive from the other women on the roster. Back during the Invasion era, there weren't very many non-wrestling women on payroll. For that reason alone, Torrie and Stacy stood out. But WWE, being as shortsighted as they are at times, thought that because the guys like these two exceptions to their roster of female wrestlers, that we'd rather have a bunch of no-talent, mindless broads who are nice on the eyes (and in some cases, marginally so) than a group of talented, trained entertainers who may not have as much potential to sell copies of the next Divas DVD, but aren't channel changers when on TV. Unfortunately, to WWE, a "diva" and a "female wrestler" should be 4 parts diva and 1 part wrestler.
That said, here's who I would've kept around: Wrestlers Trish Stratus: she's the complete package as far as a woman wrestler goes. She's beautiful, more than competent in the ring, and better than 95% of the roster (male or female) on the mic. The franchise of the division. Victoria: she should've never turned face. Psycho TaTu-lovin' Vicky was awesome. A great worker with one of the best finishers in the business. Molly Holly: someone who should've been a company gal for life turned sour on WWE after being misused after getting her wig gimmick died down last summer. The most technically sound female wrestler who was a great heel to boot. Ivory: maybe she's not interested in wrestling on a regular basis any more, but I was always a big fan of her in-ring work. She plays a good heel, as evidenced in the Right To Censor days. Lita: not a good worker by any means, but she managed to stay way over with the fans (well, until this whole Matt Hardy/Edge situation). She was a draw in spite of her shortcomings. Shaniqua: she could've been the second coming of Chyna (for better or worse) had WWE kept her around and continued her training. She had a lot of athleticism, but was never given enough time to develop as a wrestler. Miss Jackie: tarnished her reputation by being put into a match before she was ready, which ended up being one of the most memorable women's tag team matches in the last few years - for her poor performance. It's too bad, too, because she has a great look to her and has a lot of heart - if anyone doubts that, watch her on the second season of Tough Enough. Gail Kim: debuted strong and instantly fizzled out. She didn't really get a chance to live up to her reputation as the "female RVD," which is a shame since she'd add variety to the division. Jazz: the baddest biatch. Again, a good heel (it seems like a lot of these women play a good heel) who doesn't exactly fit WWE's current image of what a diva should look like.
Managerial Roles Christy Hemme: she shouldn't wrestle - nobody questions that. But damn the woman has charisma. She could help get over one of WWE's green-as-hell newbie guys. Instead, they have her trying to do her crappy kicks to win matches. Puh-lease. Amy Weber: if the Randy Orton stories are true, it's a shame that he isn't mature enough to be around girls. I thought she was great in her short stint as JBL's image consultant. Plus, she's a hottie. Torrie Wilson: hot, but give her something to do besides win bikini contests. Stacy Keibler: notice how everyone she gets paired with gets more over than they do on their own? There could be something there... Sable: she was WWE's bombshell diva from the Attitude era. Her name cache alone makes it worth having her around. Stephanie McMahon: I know a lot of people hate her, but my favorite WWE moments involve guys like the Rock and Y2J ragging on her. She plays the ultimate bratty heel, just use her more sparingly than in the past. Melina: so, I've only seen her once, but I like her so far. She's different from the rest of the divas. I'm not sure if she wrestles or not, but I like her as the manager for MNM.
Who I'd drop/keep gone: Candice: worthless Maria: dumb and worthless Dawn Marie: I don't dislike her per se, but they never give me any reason to care about her. She's on the fence with me, but if I had to say keep her or lose her, she'd get the axe. Joy Giovanni: ditto Dawn in that I don't necessarily dislike her, I just don't care about her. Plus, with the other non-wrestlers I'd keep, she's expendable. Michelle McCool: nice on the eyes, bad on the attention span. Rochelle Loewen: forgot she existed until I looked at the superstars page on WWE.com. Lauren Jones: generic hot chick - like Rochelle, completely forgettable. Jacqueline: I was never a huge fan of her...just kind of indifferent about her. Debra: Ditto Jackie. She was OK, I suppose, but no one I'd pay to have around. Chyna: too many personal problems now, and too big of an ego when she was around. Plus, she looks like a man, man. The Kat: Lawler's ex...wonder how she got a job in the first place??
I'm sure there are other women out there who have been a part of WWE in some capacity within the last 5 years or so, but these are the ones that come to mind. I think that 9 actual wrestlers on the roster, the 7 non-wrestlers wouldn't need to get into matches to keep things fresh. The match quality would be better, too, by keeping out the non-trained women.

no one has mentioned booker t's wife yet. i know she's only been on 2 x, but i really don't like her so far. and no it's not cause she's black- so shutup, it's because her voice and loud yelling of book's catchphrase is annoying to me. i do'nt know why she's there, if they're really gonna do a kidnapping angle, than i boo that idea.

Yeah that would suck, and I agree she is pretty useless. Does she wrestle?
