If you had the book?
A lot of us post on here about the Jarretts situation in TNA and HHH's family connection in WWE, however, if you had the book and you were a pretty good wrestler....would you have the gall to book yourself on top, or would you try and be magnaminous and book yourself to try and elevate others? What about if your son/daughter was a good performer...would you be able to resist elevating them above others, even if they weren't really at the level necessary?
Well, first I would do what any other person would do and make myself look like a million bucks, then I might try and help others out so that I have people to feud with and would make it believable.
As far as the family issue goes...I've never been big into giving family handouts..if they are really that good then of course I'd push them to the moon, after all they are family. But if they weren't that good then I certainly wouldn't want to ruin the company just to make them happy..you feel me?
Problem with Triple H is: the saying fits him well...He really is THAT DAMN GOOD..and would be a main event player either way you look at it. So now people don't want to give him credit.
I think anyone would book themselves on top. Its the desire to be the best. You do it at your regular job, you claw your way up the coporate ladder and when you get there you shure as hell are not gonna give up your management position or whatever you've achieved because your holding down up and comers. No, your gonna hang on to any shred of power any way you can. HHH has a ruthless business man approach to his job, its successful and will guarentee hes the man for many years to come.
To be honest if I was performing I wouldnt want anything to do with booking untill I had legitimatly made it to the top of the card on someone elses book. That way I would know each level of the card and how it would be best to book, and also be able to summarise other peoples potential correctly rather than just pushing friends/family. Hey what can I say Im a fair guy.
I would definitely not book myself at the top of the card. I'd push others and do the job for the best guys.
Until you saw how sweet it is to be heavyweight champ haha, but yeah depending on my talent I'd simply go on that.
But of course its the simple rule dont mix business with pleasure. And mixing wrestling with booking is always going to be a disaster. If you book yourself high they'll say yourself, if you book someone else, and they screw up you are lookd at like a moron...
I would book whoever was better. 'Cos they're gonna make more money, so it works out better for me in the long run, even if I'm stuck jobbing to Simon Dean. Woo, Deano!

i think i'd get sucked in at first into putiing myself up the card. Which is not an admirable trait I have, but i think i'd want to taste what it's like at the top. Although, after trialing it, if i wasn't over, i think i'd swallow my pride and disappear from thr main scene.
I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.
