Now I have been quoting Shelton Benjamin's "it's all about the Benjamin's" line that he used to give on sunday night heat before disappearing and reappearing as half of team Angle. What I'm looking for in this thread are things similar to this, lesser known gimmicks and things that mid-uppercard guys now used to do. Other then Isaac Yankem and Fake Deisel, everyone knowss about that.

Triple H- He went by Jean Paul Levesque in wcw, he was much smaller then. He then came over to WWF and took the name hunter hurst helmsley. He played a rich snob

Chris Masters- Used to be called "Superfreak" Chris Mordetzky. Was also a lot bigger than he is now

Maybe you can help me out with this...during his run as the midnight rider (I think he was doing that cuz he was supposedly suspeded) didn't he pin someone for a title and the NWA didn't let it stand because they found out who he really was?

Yes he did. He defeated Ric Flair on 02/09/1983 in Miami,FL but gave the title back when he was asked to identify himself to NWA president Bob Geigel.
