As of April 1st I have decided to go with Batista. I had originally picked HHH to win because I didnt think Batista was ready for the title, but here is the catch. Ric Flair turns on HHH to help Batista set up his finisher and capture the title from HHH. Flair raises Batistas arm in victory and wham!! Instant Face Flair. Everyone wants to cheer him anyway. Now he can be almost the spokesman for the champ. Batista will sit there all cool while Flair has a fit during his patented face promos. It would be classic. I see it happening, no doubt about it.
Winner and new Heavyweight Champion: Batista
It's about time......now bring on his next fued....
That is good reasoning as to why Batista would win. However , I don't see that happening. I honestly can't see HHH losing the title for the second year straight at Wrestlemania. The way they book it makes it seem as if Batista is gonna win it easy and usually whoever is on top on the shows before the PPV doesn't win so that is why i see HHH winning.
I would love to see that, but I don't want evolution to disappear, I like stables what can I say. It would be great if HBK joined, I enjoy him as a heel and with HHH. Perhaps HHH could help him with Kurt post match, wouldn't make sense but I'm sure they couyld do something, I'm pretty sure they were about to bury the hatchet right before Kane took Shawn out of action. Toss in Maven or Conway, bring up Matt Morgan as the bigman who can look mean and then job for the group during tags like Batista used to and you got yourself a nice new evolution.
The most likely happening is Flair teasing a face turn earlier in the show, then during the match he comes down to the ring looks like he will hit the Tripster with the chair but turns around and hits Batsita with the chair, he hasnt done this for a while.

Its called the Unforgiven 2002 finish
Poor Rob Van Dam. That could've been huge for him as well. Off topic, but yes, RVD should've won that match.
I wish my sex life was like ECW, first you get a One Night Stand followed by 2 months of nostalgic orgasms and then 6 months of constant sucking.
Im still undecided....in one hand, change is good, but on the other hand Batista stinx. mmmmmmmmmmm I will go with HHH!!!
ps: I do like your storyline there Simon, but i think HHH will win, 'cause Batista so far has completely dominated him.
That was actually the story I planned on writing for the Edge Contest (I never did finish writing that thing). But Anyway, as cool as I think that'd be I just don't see WWE pulling the trigger just yet. I think Flair is going to fuck up and piss HHH off somehow down the road and then HHH is gonna beat the shit out of him.
As far as this match goes, I don't think Batista will be a great Long-term champ but in the first couple months he could pull it off ok..I see Batista winning here, then maybe losing the title back to HHH at Backlash or the RAW PPV after that. After all, HHH does need more title reigns to get to #16.
I have officially decided to not like flair one single bit in any shape or forum regardless of what he does has done or will do in wrestling. He is an asshole who can't wrestle for shit and even his verbal promo's are the same old tired rutine. Ya he was good on the mic and a so called legend, but he is very unprofessional and certainly will never get my respect ever again.
If he becomes face with Batista I will be very very disapointed and it will put a slight taint on my WM experience.
I agree with Crocker that Flair will tease a face turn and then end up staying with HHH. I don't know about HHH winning though because I think Batista is ready for the title. If he doesn't win what would WWE do with him then? I hope for Batista's sake that he wins because if he doesn't he is at risk of falling down back into the mid card like Rob Van Dam did.
