Will Batista make it?

I'm pretty sure that we've had this thread before but that was then and this is now.

Will Batista make it as a solid main eventer or will he just fade away after WrestleMania?

The Minuses....
-He's not a great worker
-His selling (important for a face, though being a monster he shouldn't have to sell a lot)
-He's not a strong promo

The pluses
+He has a strong prescence and killer look
+He's been booked great as the cool guy

But will Triple H allow him to continue?

Yes....

If they allow him to be a monster and keep his matches short and his relaxed animal persona

No....

If they put him in long matches, have him lose at Mania or go back to having him shout a lot in his promos

They should use him exactly like WCW used Goldberg. Like Bulldog said, short matches and pure domination. His promo skills are crap, therefor, don't give him the mic...One 2 words, which goes perfect with his "Cool" persona. Have him go over Triple H at WrestleMania and like i said, he should be always dominating and never really sell. I think his looks are good, but I don't see it in him. I think of Champs like Stone Cold, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Eddie Guerrero and I don't see Batista at their level...not even close. I hope I'm wrong, 'cause we do need a change!!!

Obiously I was only answering yes to the question as "could he be a solid main eventer" certainly the answer would be no if it is changed to "could he be as big as Rock, Austin etc"

tough call. batista looks good, that may be enough for vince.....
i'm still guessing that batista will win and hhh will win the belt back w/in 2 to 6 months.

I think he could make it, but he needs to be like Kane used to be - just showing up and dominating, not talking a lot. That being said, I miss the old Kane....
