Rep Power: 6  | Excellent point there. The Road Warriors won every major tag title too. That counts way more in my book than E&C having 7 title reigns. We know during that time they had some major pull in the front office which is why they always came out on top in the really big matches. Tagging up for around 2 years does not count in my book. If you are a truly great tag team, you were created as a tag team, and you were a tag team for the majority of your career. Modern day teams that would fit this are of course AMW from TNA, Team Canada from TNA, Heck, La Resistance fits in there. Edge and Christian are better single workers, as has been proven. They are definately not the greatest tag team of all time. Like I have seaid before they are well liked on this board, a much larger sample of wrestling fans with knowledge of the many periods of wrestling throughout history would not consider them in the top ten. | |

Rep Power: 112 | Also it should be noted that two years doing monthly ppv's, twice weekly tv matches as the rosters were not split at that time at the height of the tv war, keeping up their house show schedules and world travelling and being in countless hardcore, tlc, cage etc matches is probably the equivalent of seven years of what L.o.D used to do i.e have a high profile match every now and then but chiefly indulge themselves in brutal five minute squash matches where they no sell for everyone. | |
