Mick Foley comes into it because you were basing your opinion on what Ric Flair said in his book about Steamboat which you quoted remember? Well he said some stuff about Mick Foley that was a lot of BS, so what Ric had to say about Steamboat isn't gospel as you appear to think.

I never seen anyone assume so much in my life. You would thing the Marty thing getting thrown back in your face would have been a clue to stop.

You have no clue why Steamboat was never made a heel and again you assume you know why and state it as if it were fact. It could habe been his decission or any number of reasons why he never went heel. To imply he never had potential to be a heel is total bunk. You simply don't know, end of story.

also, not a wrestler, but stacy keibler was kindof silly as the dutchess of dudlyville. though she looked cute in that skirt, going thru a table.

I agree. I might be going off topic a bit, but do you remember when Trish Stratus did those table skits when the T & A were feuding with the Dudleys? Oh man...that was like the hottest shit ever in wrestling.

You know who else is good for this topic? The Undertaker. He was a decent enough heel at the beginning but he was one that the fans decided should be a face cause they started cheering him. It was probably the gimmick because it was so cool that you souldn't hate the guy doing it. Anytime UT has gone heel it never lasted very long. The Ministry version still got cheered, as did the Biker version when he played heel there. I just think the gimmick is too cool to hate.
