I can't imagine Hacksaw Jim Duggan being a heel...never happend did it?

I think Tito Santana as a heel would be weird, but for some reason I can picture him being a ****y asshole prick in his younger days, if they went that route.
Yeah, Hacksaw Jim Duggan turned heel in WCW as a member of Team Canada. I also agree with you when u say that Sting's heel turn was the worse ever.

I loved Austin`s Heel run, it was gold. Plus it was when he started the "What" just no-one picked up on it for 6 months. And who can forget the classic sing-ins with Kurt and Vince. PURE GOLD.

Shawn and Austin were were both fantastic heels. Shawn as the head of DX and Austin, in particular, in his Dangerous Alliance WCW days though I also liked a lot of the comedy in his WWE turn.

Austins heel turn was NOT a sucess. People still cheered him, so he had to almost go "crazy" with the whole "what?" crap.

Shawn WAS a good heel, I just dont see him able to pull it off 8 years later. He's too good now. Bad example for this thread i guess.

And Ida, try coming up with some yourself. It aint that easy bro

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

I thought that Austin played the heel role wonderfully, the only problem was that the crowd never bought into it, but its through no fault of his own.

Once a person gets established enough, the crowd loves them so much that it becomes difficult to boo them. Ric Flair is another example. Undertaker's heel turn a few years back wasnt a raging success either.

You rarely, if ever have a point on anything except that if they don't agree with you they are dumb. Mcmahon was not a character involved in storylines up until the one with Stone Cold. And when involved with Austin he was automatically a heel, probably the greatest heel character of all time. Whenever Vince tries to be a face now no one believes it because he is the evil Mr. Mcmahon. As for Steamboat I didn't say that you raging, *********. Ric Flair said that. So you had better call him up and tell him hes making stupid assumptions cause he never knew or worked with the guy right?
And apparently it was the right thing to say unless Steamboat decides to come out of retirement and take his rightful place as most badass heel of all time right? I
Umm ya, that first part is not even close to being true but whatever. If you have a problem with people disagreeing with you then don't give your opinion. I never called you stupid so please don't put words in my mouth. Also please refrain from calling me other names.

So you did nothing more than quote Flair and based on what 1 man's opnion about an assumption, you believe it and state it to be most likely fact? And yes I am saying he made a stupid assumption mainly because of what he said about Mick Foley. Just because Ric is who he is doesn't mean he knows all or has to form my opinion for me.

Vince may not have been involved in characters but I still consider him a face back then because there was always a heel and face announcer. He is the complete oppisite of what he was back then. And that is the whole point of the thread. He maybe not be able to do the face character like he did back then but he did it good once.

Where exactly did Mick Foley come into this? I quoted Ric Flair when he said Steamboat is the ultimate face, he was. Steamboat never went heel in his career therefore he never made a successful heel turn. I'm confused as to why you can't understand this concept. If Steamboat had potential as a heel at some point someone would have suggested it happen. That was never the case. I don't know how to put this more simply so you can understand it.
