The Steroid Issue

Recently since the steroid issue in baseball has come to a rather serious level, there's no doubts the scrutiny will pass onto other fields, most likely wrestling. I think there's little doubt there are steroid users in the WWE and all of wrestling. Do you think the WWE needs to adopt a steroid prevention plan or do you believe that there are no problems now and really won't be in the forseeable future with any "performance enhancing drugs" even if ther problems are "hidden?"

I think you need to look at why steroids were devolped in the first place to answer this question. There is no doubt that using steriods to help become big will a)work and b)make you moody. But that`s not what they`re originally about. They are there to help injuries and keep muscles working. Aurguably the WWE or any professional wrestling isnt competition (yes i know you compete to get you`re spot by being the best but at the end of the day the booker decides who goes over not your bicep size or your muscle recovery time) so steriods used by guys to help them back to work or to continue working are by definition "medication". Performance Enhancing Drugs is a much thrown about phrase when describing steriods but in a company such as the WWE it is all about "performance" so surely by that argument the "enhancement" of any wrestlers "performance" is for the good of the company and for the good of the individuals career.

Why, so they can later pay for neck surgeries or muscle injuries because they get hurt as a result of being on the juice?

Yeah, I don't think WWE tells people to do steroids, but I do think they look the other way.

i think continious bumping leads to injuries not juice if anything steriods would aid recovery time and prevent most of the neck injuries by building muscle around the spine

But it is easier to tear ligaments when you're on the juice.
