i imagine it's hard to come up w/ storylines for everyone, or at least all the upper guys... but damnit, that's the writer's job. this is not a storyline.

Raw started out well with the HBK-Angle segment. Then, it hit a brick wall. I understand they wanted to make HHH look strong, but the problem is that when you devote almost all your airtime to a select few performers, the crowd has no reason to care about anyone else. So, nobody gave a shit that Rosey was out there defending Hurricane's honor, or that HHH "injured" him after the match. This wasnt exactly bad booking, its just indicative of my main gripe with WWE right now, which is the excessive focus on the top of the card The ladder match would be cool, but I really think they could have worked it better. I mean, what reason do these 6 guys have to be in a match together, other than the fact that they've all beeen pushed in the last year. Even if Bischoff had said something like "you guys have done a great job for me all year, and helped Raw be successful every week. I'd like to reward you by giving you a great opportunity, on the biggest stage of them all, to not only showcase your talents at Wrestlemania, but to advance your careers, yadda yadda yadda". But what the hell, i'm sure it will be a great match Christian-Kane was just kinda there. Why make Kane the surprise 6th entrant? Did that really surprise anyone? Or was it their way of swerving everyone who thought it was gonna be Matt Hardy? Y2J-Edge really just didnt click. They never really got any momentum. Very disappointing. Benoit-Benjamin, however, was a good match. I think very highly of Benjamin as an in-ring performer, and Benoit brought the best out in him. The Christy-Trish stuff is actually pretty good. I'm afraid of what we'll see at Mania, but the storyline heading into it has been great. Batista-Flair was just kinda there. Nothing bad, nothing good. Just there. Flair did take a hell of a powerbomb for a guy his age though. And it did make Batista look strong going into Mania
