Should The Undertaker ever lose at Wrestlemania? and Thoughts on Orton-Taker
A lot of people are probably saying that this would be the perfect time for Undertaker's Mania streak to end. To give Orton the win and try to re-establish him as the future of the WWE.
I think it would be a better idea for Orton to lose in a hard fought match, and then get pissed and beat the shit out of the Taker after the match. Then Orton can go back to RAW and talk about how he killed another Legend only to get drafted to Smackdown! where the Taker resides. They could get another two months out of the story easy, and turn Orton back to "The Legend Killer" we all loved in the first place.
I also hear a lot of people say that Undertaker shouldn't lose at Mania to Orton based solely on his streak. So is their any situation that you would see fit for Taker to lose at Mania, or should that be his Legacy when he retires?
I think the fact that both sides of this debate are so arguable and the fact that this isn`t an easy match to call is going to contribute to this match being a big success at mania. With a few false finishes they could make us all get that old edge of our seat feeling that used to make PPV`s unmissable.
I think if Taker lost, it would really make Orton. But I wanna see more of a build up behind it, so I would have to say no. What I'd like to see is Taker win, Orton move to SD!, where they could feud for the all year (Orton trying to get revenge for the loss) and then at next year's WM defeat Taker. I also would like to see Orton heel for all of this. Taker should lose at Mania b4 he's done, because it's good for the business.
on another forum, a good post was made about how 80% of takers matches make sense for him to win , the only two times takers match could have gone either way (in terms of the other guys push etc) was WM17 against HHH and WM14 against Kane.
Because all his other opponents have been people like king kong bundy, giant gonzalez, sid, big boss man etc. and wouldnt make sense for taker to put them over....
So I personally think Orton WILL win in his match with taker, hopefully the guy gets his streak back, cuz he sucks as a babyface
I like Narcs idea, if they have Orton and Taker fued for a year because randy lost to taker at WM, like after the match he takes a sledge hammer to taker and totally fucks him up good, than taker comes back beats the shit out of Orton takes him out for awhile, you know shit like that it would be a more meaningful win for Orton to pin taker at the next WM in a WM 21 rematch with some sort of new gimmick match like Hell In A Cell/Last Man Standing Match.. than he comes out looking like a billion dollars. Im not saying it has to be all about Taker/Randy, but they need to play out sooo everyone watching can just feel the Heat Between the 2 and Just cant wait for the match to happen.

Well, mine and Narc's idea was a bit similar, although I don't think them fighting for a year would work in the days of 15 PPVs a year. But they should feud until Summerslam, where Orton can pick up the win.
They dont have to face each other in every ppv? Other people would get involved of course, but it would always be Taker and Orton hating each other, with their final blow at WM (like Quagmire lol said, the HIAC would be good).

I wouldn't mind seeing Orton beat 'Taker to go back to his legend killer heel days with momentum. HOWEVER, it's too late for this years WM to spoil 'Taker's record with a feud that still hasn't ever started with just three or four weeks to Mania.
