Does anyone else think they missed a golden opportunity with his recent return? Picture this...
One night on Smackdown, Scotty 2 Hotty comes out, and as usual gets little reaction except for maybe a few little kids that are happy to see him. But instead of coming out dancing and smiling and stuff like that, he's very serious.
He gets into the ring and grabs the mic, and he says something to this effect "I realize that you fans havent seen much of me lately, and I wish I could've been out here performing for you guys, but I had some very important issues to take care of. I had some very serious health issues, which may have been cancer-related..." and he can talk about his struggles and stuff like that.
He can then end the promo talking about how this experience put things into perspective for him and he's going to live every day to is fullest, yadda yadda yadda.
Now, you figure the crowd has got to make an emotional connection with him here. And then you have a cruiserweight besides Rey who may actually have a connection with the crowd.
Instead, all we got was a passing mention of his ailments by Michael Cole during one of his matches, and Scotty once again fades into obscurity and Velocity duty
