Arguably the two biggest stables ever, and certainly the two biggest of the 'Monday Night War' era.. these stables changed over their lifetimes.. Which was their best respective line ups?
For me, DX was best with Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, HHH and X-Pac. Ok, so X-Pac blew big time, but the NAO and HHH rocked. They were just cool. Chyna in DX never worked for me, although HHH and HBK did rule as a collective unit.
In regards to the nWo, I never saw loads of WCW, but I just saw enough to say that the best line-up was the original Hogan/Hall/Nash trio. You didn't need all the peripheral players. Dibiase is always good.. but Hogan, Nash and Hall made the nWo what it was.
3D. Wrestling Clique, Monksdiner, JimmyVan and KnowYourNews' Crafty Old Veteran.
After the Giant joined the nWo, I thought that was the best. I dont remember who else was in it, but I remember they spent weeks building up the Giant to be the one who was gonna save WCW from the nWo. I remember Giant joining and me just saying "wow...now what?"
It would have been like Chris Benoit laying down for HHH at WM last year and joining Evolution
As for DX, I liked the HHH-NAO-XPac quartet, sans Chyna
I'll tell ya what. I think when the NWO split and it was Nash, Sting, Luger, Macho, Konan, and Hennig as the wolfpac. They ran at full strength for like 2 months but then WCW fucked it up like they did everything else. At the beginning of this incarnation they were pretty close to the most popular stable to come around in long time. D-X can really only be talked about in terms of the HHH, X-Pac, Outlaws and Chyna that is the only true for m of DX to ever come along. I don't count HHH, HBK and Chyna as a stable they were more like a tag team with an amazon manager.
On a side note, Jason Giambi of the Yankees always comes out to the Wolfpac music for his first at-bat at home games, and I still see a few people who throw up the Wolfpac hand signal for it
I really didnt mind all of those people joining the nWo if only they would've put more efforts in promoting them. My fave tho would have to be the original 3.....for both D-X and the New World Order.
DX: HHH, Outlaws & X-Pac. I still love the pissing contest bit they did. LMAO and the poking fun at the corporation - "I think Kenny needs to switch to decaf!"
nWo: the original 3 - Nash, Hall, and Hogan. Man, I used to get a kick out of Hall doing the weekly survey.
But no seriously, I liked the NWO when they had like 30 guys in the group cuz it was like a street gang. I was just like c'mon now, who gonna fuck wit them? You know they had Wallstreet out there and dibiase it was great.
I thought HBK and HHH were a lot more entertaining then the ladder, but like someone was sayin' I didn't really count them as a stable.

The Wolfpac was almost perfect. Remember they tried to recruit DDP also, but Savage nixed it, and challenged DDP to a match instead. But, I still have to go with them for the nWo.
For DX, I still loved HHH,HBK, and Rick Rude (then later Chyna). They had some of the funniest bits of all time. (Eating the banana's while doing color comm, the fued with Commish Slaughter, especially the face masks with wiper blades. When HBK laid down for HHH when they had to fight over the Euro belt.)
