Isnt it entirely possible that both men lose to HHH and JBL respectively? If they both win, then what??

This is kinda like the thread I just made, but also different.

You know, I think what your trying to say Simon, is that two babyface champions will be bad for the WWE, which I agree with to a certain extent. But I would have them both play a "tweener" type role, where they can fight anybody. I've always liked tweeners because they make more sense than straight up babyfaces. Plus, I think Cena and Batista's personalities both fit a tweener role. Ideally, I'd like to see Cena turn back into a heel. I thought he was much funnier and controversial that way.

Either way, I think the smart thing to do with Wrestlemania is have at least one of HHH and JBL lose, and preferably the last match to get a pop out of the crowd. I think the crwd would be overly pissed if the show ended with a Heel champion carrying around the title.

Or they can just have an interpromotianal match last.

What would be better for the company. Batista as World Champ or Cena as WWE Champ?

I say, Batista. Batista isn't getting any younger, and he is as hot as anyone right now, and as hot as he probably will ever be. If the roles were reversed and Cena was fighting HHH and JBL with Batista, I'd still have Batista win the title. Cena has a lot of time left in his career.

Also, if Batista loses, where does he go from there? Hey, in the other thread I said I'm not sure if he can main event PPV after PPV, but I also wouldn't mind giving him a shot at it. A loss to HHH would kill any momentum Batista has built.

Cena potentially, could hold on to the U.S. Title even after losing to JBL and they can both stay champions on Smackdown!. Then, after they have another draft, Cena and JBL can get some fresh faces over there to fight so it won't be repetition with the Big Show's and Kenzo's or whatever.

I think that Cena will at least win. But shortly after we need that long awaited and much needed heel turn from him. If Batista wins there is no way he can be an outright babyface. Tweener, definately he has to be destroying HHH and Benoit or HBK or whoever is in his way. Niether man can be a total face for too long after Mania if they win.

I think Cena wont win, in the last couple of Mania's where both World Title have been on the line only one has changed and it has been the the one in the main event both times, and im 100%certain that the main event will be HHH/Batista so im going for JBL to retain(maybe he can keep hold of the belt for a year)

I also believe JBL will hold the WWE title for a lot longer. Perhaps SummerSlam even. He has just been getting better and better, there is no need to take it off him now.

The only people who seem to be 100% behind Cena are 12-15 year olds and they can friggin wait if you ask me.

Once that title is off JBL his character will take a major hit. I think the WWE realized that a long time ago.

Remember when JBL beat Eddie back months ago. People were like "WTF was that?!?!"

I think that both men will win the titles, but that John Cena will hold the WWE title longer than Batista has the World Title. Its gonna be interesting to see what happens after WM and if people get tired of seeing Batista with the title and nobody to defend it against. To me, and i've said this before, babyface champions don't hold titles longer than heel champions. Plus its only a matter of time and i predict that before 2005 is over that HHH is going on his 11th world title reign, and will once again Main Event WM22 against a new star that wwe has produced.
