The WWE has two options. Go live on Tuesdays for Smackdown in place of Thursday or spend buttloads more money and get a seperate ring and camera crew for SD and stay Thursday, but go live.

Smackdown not being live is killing the WWE. Why watch Smackdown when Survivor, The Apprentice, CSI and any other show are on. Especially when the spoilers are sitting right there for the internet fan.

Some will say that the internet base doesnt represent the vast majority of the fans watching and going to the shows, but the fact remains that since 2001, the WWE has seen 1/3 of its audience disappear. The ones that are most likely to stay are the ones that are sitting here typing away likes the "smarks" we are.

I personally love wrestling. Can't get enough, but when the option of watching Survivor and The Apprentice come up (yes, I like those shows) and I can find out what happens on SD, then chances are is I will peek at the spoilers, then watch the show sporadically when I think a spot I want to see will be on.

Point is. If it was live I would basically be forced to watch it or fear losing out on something.

Wake up WWE.

I agree I watch Smackdown each week but half the time I already know what happens because of the spoilers. WWE just ended a season of Interactive TV with Raw where you watch the show and answer trivia and stuff. I bet more people would watch Smackdown if they did the same thing, but they can only do it on a live show. They really are making a mistake not being live.

I'd like it better if it was live but that's not why I don't watch it. The angles usually suck. I don't read spoilers btw.

I dont mind it really. I have like 3 tvs I can just tape 2 shows and watch another...

They should just record the show in front of an empty stadium to avoid spoilers. Face facts, within three years the stadiums will be empty anyway.

I didnt read spoilers this week, and I still couldnt get through the first hour without flipping on my PS2...

Spoilers definitely hurt, but there's a more fundamental flaw in Smackdown

I hate the fact that after a smackdown ppv you have to wait 4 days for the pay off on SD. Maybe they should go live every other week and see how it goes, just like RAW in the old days.

I never had a problem waiting untill thursday for smackdown and avoiding the spoilers when the matches included Angle Lesnar Benoit Guerrero Edge Ryhno Big Show Cena Matt Hardy, now im not gonna sit thru two hours for one or two decent moments. The fact it`s not live doesnt bother me, the fact it sucks right now does.
