WWE still paying former stars?

I read in interview recently with Jim 'Hacksaw' Duggan and I was pretty surprised they that are still sending him royalty checks. It made me wonder what exactly are they paying for after all this time? Do they have to cut a check every time he appears on tv? Or is it for the On Demand thing that they launched? From the interview, he seems pretty happy with it and came acorss as if it was helping him pay the bills. Could it really be that much after all this time?

I can't even begin to fathom how they manage to keep track of all this, put a price to it,tally it up, cut a check, and pay them. I wonder if they only do it to the ones who are smart enought to know they should be getting something.

Maybe JV can shed some light on this?

Hmmm, very interesting.

I imagine that yes, royalties do come into play. If Vince is making a profit off of his old stuff then royalities are a good way to keep everyone happy.

Vince prolly gives each old wrestler a penny on each DVD sold or something. Or the On Demand service may pay. Who knows?

Good question though.

Its nice to see Vince is paying attention to the superstars of the past.

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....
