Remember whan Vince used to say that? It used to be the company's motto. They have gone so far away from that in recent years it sickens me. Now its more like you already know whats gonna happen in the WWE. Royal Rumble is a perfect example. Batista could have thrown everyone out or something and then Lesnar's music could have hit. The place would have gone nuts. WWE has lost the shock factor or the element of suprise they once had. It was not uncommon to see people show up out of the blue on PPV. So come on WWE shock the hell out of me thats why I watch. Give me something to talk about the next day. You've got Austin, reportedly Hogan and even Lesnar (he's a longshot now). Hell have Bret Hart come out and attack Shawn Micheals. Dig up Andre the Giant and drag his 500 pound dead ass to the ring I just wanna see something.

One thing I always hated was when they hyped up someone's debut or return beforehand. Does anyone think the NWO angle would have been successful if they had been running promos for Hall and Nash a month before they debuted? Hell no. It was the shock of seeing them on Nitro that jumpstarted the angle.

Or how Vince handled the Jericho and Tazz debuts. They gave subtle hints (the Y2J countdown, Tazz's beeping during people's intros), but they never came out and said "at the Royal Rumble, Tazz debuts!!!" Then, it made it cool when Tazz actually came out. People may have known that it was gonna be Tazz, but at least they didnt come right out and tell us

does anyone else remember the vignettes for the stalker, or wcw's subzero ripoff, what was his name? i forget, but i remember the awful promos for him. i always think it's funny when they run the promos and then the guy never shows up or is there for a few weeks (ex, Mordecai)
by the way stevo, i busted out laughing when i read the line about andre there.
it would be nice to be surprised. the only surprises of recent have been little ones like spike and then funaki winning the cruiserweight. i too call for something big.
(bigger than austin even, b/c we all know that he's made deals with vince on the movie front so even he wouldn't be an out of the blue surprise)

also by the way, damn i love lohan's breasts, i hope they're real, b/c they're spectacular.
