Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Eddie Guerrero Am I crazy, or is Eddie being shafted right now? At the Rumble, he got chanted when he left, he got the loudest chants all night, and proved he's arguably the most over guy in the company. That spot where the crowd chanted for Eddie when he was listening to Holly and Benoit chop Puder to shreds shows why he should never have lost the title to JBL, and should still be in the title hunt. So why is he being shitted around with Booker T in a tag team that can't beat the Basham Brothers? It aint right, both guys are capable of so much more, and should blatantly be in the title picture. So should Kurt, Show and Taker, so they should all be jostling for position with each other. That'd make SD! so much better, instead of Taker/Heidenreich, and Booker T and Eddie tagging. |

For one thing, Eddie is ridiculously over, and a longer title reign would have been nice. Plus, if they had held off, they would have given the JBL character more time to gain respectability, and his title reign probably would have been better recieved. Of course, hindsight is 20-20, but its hard to see the logic in giving Eddie a 3-month reign then losing to an unproven main-eventer with no respectability.

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() | I think they`re gonna go full blown on a heel turn for eddie and pitch him against Rey Rey which in my opinion is guaranteed money. I just hope it will be as good as the fued they did in WCW. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | They probably stopped pushing him because he's not big enough for Vince's gigantic-steroid-laden-freak fetish. Who cares if he's the most popular guy in the company right now, as long as he's under 250 pounds he's not worthy of the main event, right? WWE sucks. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | kjh - I fear that. Turning Eddie heel wouldn't be a great move, in my opinion. They tried it before, the crowd didn't wanna know then.. his character is just a better face. He can convey his humour, and work his magic that way, he just works better as a face. Kinda like Orton being a heel - it's just plain better. I would love a proper feud between Mysterio and Eddie though. But does it mean that Eddie has to go heel? Or even Mysterio? Why not keep both faces? That'd still be awesome for Mania. |

They could continue the plot of Rey getting pins on Eddie and Eddie just becoming more and more pissed at him, without actually turning heel. A heel turn would be wasted anyway, the crowd loves Eddie too much and cheer him even when he does heel things, e.g putting Tajiri though his car that time.

Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It seem a few weeks ago that there was hints of a heel turn for eddie but there has been such strong reactions for eddie from the crowd over the last few weeks that it won't be happining now because the WWE learnt from last time. But what does that mean? It looke like there was going to be an Eddie - Rey fued and Eddie - Booker fued but i can's see there being an eddie rey fued now if they are both faces because thats not the WWE way. If booker ends up turning heel then that could be the end of his so called main event status because he does not work as well as a heel. If Eddie stays face he is running out of options on smackdown because after angle and JBL who he already faced on a number of occasions theres nothing out there for him.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Crock - I see your point, but WWE should learn that face vs face feuds work. One of their most successful feuds - Rock vs Austin - had a face v face part at one point (Leading into WM17, before Austin turned at Mania). These feuds work, the matches work, nothing is wrong with face vs face. It is basic errors like this - like avoiding these types of feuds and making a hash of heel/face turns, that is costing them dear. If WWE did this (Which I'm not sure they will) then he'd had plenty of options - 'Taker/Booker/Rey/Cena/JBL/Angle/Big Show/Anyone on SD!, he's that versatile. But I hate the fact WWE is just jobbing Eddie right now - he's jobbed to Rey a few times, with no sign of getting the receipt, he's just jobbed to Booker T, he's jobbed in tag matches.. It sucks! |

Rep Power: 45 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I wouldn't be too worried about Eddie right now...I didn't even mind that REY beat him a few times cuz it finally made REY look good for once. I was surprised he lost to Booker but he'll probablt beat Booker anyway down the road and this whole tourney is a waste of time. I think everyone would be shocked if Cena didn't win it, they should have just had a one night mini-rumble like last year and been done with it. Anyway, back to Eddie, Wrestlemania is in L.A., if I'm not mistaken L.A. has a lot of mexicans, and some of those people probably got tickets so if WWE was smart they'd have Eddie in a pretty big match (maybe for U.S. Title) and I think they will.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Eddie vs Rey for the US title would be awesome. But I think Eddie would do the job, yet again. And he doesn't need that. He needs a mega push yet again. Please WWE... I'm beggin', here! In reference to the tournament, I thought the Dupree/'Taker double count out decision was awful. Why even bother having the SD match if we don't get a PPV match? It'll probably lead to Reigns + Jindrak/Taker on NWO.. yawn. |
