Here are my Raw thoughts for this weeks show.

*HHH has been delivering some classic heel promos lately. Although I dont agree with him needing to attack Stacy to get heat, it seemed to work.

*Are they aligning Orton and Stacy? Maybe they should. She is super over with the horny 14 year olds and Orton could use some good help getting over lately.

*Hassan cant wrestle to save his life.

*Call off the search and rescue !!! Val Venis is still alive !! I really never understood why this dude has been regulated to jobber status.

*I havent heard a quasi heel (Batista) this over since people started to cheer for the heel Lesnar. There are many similarities between the two, but Batista actually appears to have more charisma. Who woulda thunk it?

*LMFAO at Maven's promo and reactions to being in the triple threat match. If he could actually wrestle he would get over as a heel instantly.

*I dont know what commercials you guys get subjected too overseas and over the border, but if I have to see one more god damn LUGS or Truth, the anti-drug commerical I am going to fly to Spike TV's network headquarters and go postal on their asses.

*Christy may have no wrestling skills, no wrestling angles, but hot damn she is one good looking female.

*Isnt is amazing how over Austin still is? Well I guess its not that amazing. He was one of the best ever. He looks like he is still in good shape.

*If anyone has an extra Wrestlemania 21 ticket, mail it to me. I really want to go. haha.

*Smackdown Rumble talk..........I really have a feeling that Big Show may take the strap. Although its very unlikely.

*Poor Randy Orton. He doesnt have a shot in hell of beating HHH Sunday. I have also heard rumors that Maven was punished at NYRevolution because he parties too much, but yet Randy Orton is one of his top drinking buddies. Anyone else hear this?

*King just said, Orton walked away from Evolution.........oooooook.

*I realize you have to check your brain at the door when watching wrestling but seriously, how are we supposed to believe that Ric Flair is still in wrestling shape? This guy has been doing the same shit for years. Has this sap EVER sucessfully jumped off the top rope? Gaaaawd.

*LMFAO !!!! HHH looking around after Batista gets kicked out. He is funny as hell when he isnt trying to be a badass.

*I really cant express enough how much Ric Flair should NOT be wrestling anymore.

*Uuugh, what a lame main event.

I have to disagree with JV about Daivari speaking during the match. I thought it was hysterical. In fact, I think it might actually help Hassan, because his in-ring style is kinda boring, so having some guy at ringside screaming like a lunatic can bring some excitement to Hassan's matches. The best is when he breaks into English all of sudden. He's yelling in Arabic (or whatever language it is) for 5 straight minutes, and then you hear "STAY AGGRESSIVE!!!" I thought that was really entertaining

As for Batista, he's like Lesnar, but more charisma and less in-ring talent. I like his calm demeanor. Its a nice contrast, because you would think a big guy like him would be a growling monster like Snitsky, but the fact that he stays so cool and confident gives his character a nice twist.

As for the rest of the show, the opening six-man tag was good. Maven is a brilliant heel, but its too bad he loses every match he's in. I also liked how Kane and Snitsky actually sold the effects of last week's match, considering how big a deal they made out of its "brutality".

Also, I think WWE is starting to regret jumping the gun on the Randy Orton push. His character got so old, so fast.

Why oh why are they pushing Viscera? And why couldnt they have left Tajiri on Smackdown with the other cruisers. Send Hurricane over as well.

Ya Flair sucks and your Fiar and HHH comments mimicked mine Simon.

The Main event sucked simpley because it was Flair. HHH has been pretty funny lately and I always liked his dry humor he does.

Kane/McMaven/Snitsky match was pretty funny. All 3 of them had me laughing. Not sure why McMaven would be in trouble for partying too much. I mean as long as he was showing up on time and giving %100. It is weird how he seems to be getting punished though.

Hassan is still pretty green in the ring but in time he will get better as long as he feuds with guys who are pretty good in the ring he should improve. The yelling outside the ring is a good distraction form the lack of skill in the ring. It is a smart distraction. I find it very funny and when he was wrestling the King. it was funny tohear some of the stuff he was saying to JR.

Jr: come on King, you can take him!
Daivari:You shutup! no he can't!

I saw Val last week At Raw. He sure is a big SOB. It is a shame he is in such great shape yet not bing used other than to job.

I will tell you what comercial I AM sick of is that stupid Yop comercial. It weirds me out and I dunno, is just weird.

I still can't believe they made yesterday Jim Ross day. HHH was right when he said they must be hard up if they have to honor Jim Ross with his own day lol.

Poor Randy is right. I guess Batista showed more potential or they just realized he isn't getting any younger and better use him while they can. Randy has tons of future left and can only go up.

I hate Christy as well but yer right, she is hot, specially in person. I got a nice ass shot that I posted in the wresting pics lol.

Raw was average I guess. The opening bout should have been the main event though. Anything better than having to watch Flair wrestle.

-I love when HHH acts afraid of Batista..it cracks me up. The writers have handled this feud great and maybe they will learn from how successful this could be for the company. Batista is no Lesnar in the ring, but he has a great look and really isn't that bad in the ring compare to some other big men I know. Batista could be huge with his calm attitude outside the ring and his agressiveness inside the ring, I like the change of pace.

-Hassan still isn't good in the ring, but still early.

-I understand what WWE is doing with Viscera. It is a shame that guys like Tajiri and Rhyno won't be in the rumble but somebody is going to eliminate Vis by himself and then JR and King are gonna put the guy over like it was the greatest thing they ever saw.

-Orton has dropped way down. man, I say it every week but I can't believe how much he has been wasted. The Stacy thing isn't a great idea. Yeah most fans like to see her (I think she way too skinny) but Orton is spossed to be an arrogant playa type guy, not a one woman man.

I wouldnt be suprised at all if the writers has no idea this was going to happen. It is quite feasable that there are only a couple of people behind this angle and its HHH and Batista.

Bottom line is the wrestlers can make or break ANY angle in wrestling. They, afterall, are the ones that have to stand and deliver.

HHH strikes me as the person that would tell the writers what THEY will be writing for him.

I wasn't exactly talking about the promos Simon. Of course HHH and Batista have a hell of a lot to do with it. I was talking about the writers and McMahon or whoever letting this angle grow slowly, and not rush to the finish. A big payoff is coming because of the slow maturity of this angle, and maybe someone in WWE can learn from that.

They've been booking him as face for weeks. The only thing they can do to surprise anyone is have him not turn on HHH.

The (only) fun of a Flair match is how predictable it is. You know the top rope gag's gonna fail cause even the King gets worried. (In fact I have no idea what he would actually do from the top rope if he could make it off: elbow, splash, head butt?) You can see the thumb to the eye in advance, followed by JR's obligatory "dirtiest player in the game." You can expect him begging on his knees at least once a match. And you know when he's gonna get groggy, punch the air aimlessly, and take a header, as they call it. All good comedy, though I would agree his main event days are long gone.

BTW did anyone notice Orton actually Hulked up in that one? Cool gimmick, just don't ovedo it like Hogan did.
