I was just reading WWE's PPV schedule for this year on PWInsider.com, and I noticed something interesting. There's an unnamed PPV in June this year, according to this schedule:
New Year's Revolution - January 9,2005 (RAW)
Royal Rumble - January 30, 2005 (JOINT)
No Way Out - February 20, 2005 (SMACKDOWN)
WrestleMania 21 - April 3, 2005 (JOINT)
Backlash - May 1, 2005 (RAW)
Judgment Day - May 22, 2005 (SMACKDOWN) To be Announced - June 12, 2005 (???)
Vengeance - June 26, 2005 (RAW)
The Great American Bash - July 24, 2005 (SMACKDOWN)
SummerSlam - August 21, 2005 (JOINT)
Unforgiven - September 18, 2005 (RAW)
No Mercy - October 9, 2005 (SMACKDOWN)
Taboo Tuesday - November 1, 2005 (RAW)
Survivor Series - November 27, 2005 (JOINT)
Armageddon - December 18, 2005 (SMACKDOWN)
Now, if this PPV on June 12 were to be a single brand PPV, that'd give one of the brands on more PPV than the other, which would cause problems (fewer payouts for one brand, showing favoritism). So, that leads me to believe that this PPV will be another joint PPV. Historically, the King of the Ring has been the June PPV, so maybe it's due for a comeback? If so, I'm cool with that, since that PPV was one of the better ones in its early years, before it became barely about the tournament and just another PPV. Thoughts?
Oh yeah, I forgot about the ECW PPV...that'd make sense, wouldn't it? To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
And keep it so all the rounds are held during the PPV. The three match lay-out was the death of the King of the Ring.

Im down with bring back the "king of the ring" more so than this ECW PPV because what evers left of ECW is going to be destroyed by this PPV. Besides whose going to be in this PPV, HHH and The Undertaker who had nothing to do with ECW in the first place. I say bring back "King Of The Ring"

I agree 100%....but if they were to have an ECW PPV, I hope they have in it all the ECW stars like Danny Doring, Roadkill, Mike Awesome, Sabu, New Jack, Justin Credible, Tommy Dreamer etc.
