Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() | Books to Read, If You Haven't Pure Dynamite and The Death of WCW. Pure Dynamite should serve as a warning manual as what not to do should you enter the wrestling world. Though you have to put with with his ego, he tells it like it is and pulls no punches, and blames no one but himself for the fact that he wound up in a wheelchair at an early age. And the stories about who he got along with and didn't are pretty harsh, plus he and Davey Boy were not as close as we like to have believed. Highly reccommened. Death of WCW, of which we know most of the story anyways, recounts the insane growth of WCW from Eric Bischoff and the NWO in 1996, and how it nearly ended the WWF forever. It also describes in great sarcastic detail, some of the dumbest wrestling angle's and ideas ever to grace the TV screen and completely insult anyone with an IQ higher than their age. I found myself laughing out loud at some of things WCW would try to pull off, and did, with complete incompetence. It would crack me up to read some god awful idea, followed by its' execution, followed by the author's comment "This is absolutely true." Like the World title mess between Nash, Sid, and Jarrett, which took about 3 paragraphs to explain, just the details, not the angle. At the end, it's a bit sad, but when you follow it start to finish, you'll be amazed it made it till 2001. This book should be handed out to all business college courses on how to not run a company, though wrestling is a unique business. Need a laugh? Pick this up.

I have read almost all the major WWE stars books. Nothing comes close to Mick Foleys books though. That WCW book sounds like a really fun read.

(man he sucked, i had forgotten that he was on wwf as well as wcw)

Rep Power: 15 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The Mick Foley books are by far the best so far, than I have to say Jerry Lawlers Its Good To Be King Sometimes is a good read it has lots about his fooling around with the groupies. I got Stone Colds, Edges, Litas, and Ric Flairs book for Christmas but I havent looked at them yet. I also got Hardy Boyz, Rocks, Chynas, Angles, and sex lies and headlocks which were all ok.
