Ok, who should main event against HHH at Mania? (if HHH is champ, which I think he will be)
To me it should be Batista. He has a very well booked storyline that has been built over several weeks, he has the right look at the right time, and people want to cheer for him. Most fans want to see a badass Batista running around killing people in 2005. Normally, I'd say it's too soon for a guy that hasn't been around that long to be in a huge match at Mania, but I think WWE has a great window of opportunity with Big Dave if they pull the trigger soon. I don't want to see Batista's character to start getting screwed up like Cena and Orton. Orton needs to be an arrogant type guy, that doesn't care about anyone instead of being friends with babyfaces. The A-hole character is what made Orton in the first place. I seen JV mention something like this about how Austin and Rock never changed and that is why they continued to be successful. The ship has sailed on Orton, and WWE needs to go back and start to rebuild him, so I say just put Big Dave in the title match.
If they hadnt screwed up and had the Orton-HHH match a few months ago, then maybe him. But now that we've seen it already, big Dave has gotta be in the main event
Unless, of course, they go with a three-way match, or as I suggested before, a 4-way with HHH, Orton, Batista, and Flair
They should do it because Batista is no spring chicken. He turns 36 this month and if he wants to make a good run of it, they better give it to him sooner then later. I think he can carry any ball given to him and do a great job.
I think the all thing with Batista is an illusion. You may all like his looks, the storyline is in and all, but the fact of the matter is, hes still horrible in the ring. Still, I still prefer him to face HHH over Orton, but not for the title. First of all, I dont want Batista to become champion, second, I dont HHH to go to WrestleMania as champ and third of all, I think this match is a big enough dra, without the title.
Batista rocks in the ring - he's full of power moves, and has quite an arsenal in comparison to many other so-called 'big guys'.
He should be the guy against HHH. Perhaps not for the title though - I'd rather that HHH didn't win the Elimination Chamber. Then you could have HHH/Batista purely about Evolution, have HHH put him over, and still have him saved to win the strap. Plus, you could have another meaningful fight for the World Title involving someone else - Edge, or Jericho?

i just smoke a joint lol. But no, If the match goes for more than 5 minutes he is horrible. The guy can deliver some good power moves, but he cant sell for shit and he cant really tell a story.
