One of those E Feds was actually quite successful, the original one that started in the Non Wrestling as a joke. It lasted for like 3 years after it was started, called the IOFW. I was the last champion, there was quite a few champions if I recall... Biff, Abel I think, JC? Freak? Eh.

If you Google search IOFW, you get a small bio on Miss Rhiannon, one of the wrestlers within it:

We have had quite a few e-feds. It was way more than three.

I guess it was three if you count name only but we tried to bring all of them back at least a couple of times.

The first e-fed worked well simply because we had a lot of members on the board at the time who were active on a regular basis. Remember WWE was pulling about twice the ratings points at the time. A lot of people were obsessed and wanted to re-live those famous WWE moments with an e-fed.

I worked with a bunch of e-feds, a couple of which are still running today, and have run more indy style ones too. They all died out in the last five years.

I think people have had the wrong idea with e-feds at KYN. If you expect them to last forever you are more than likely going to be let down. Join them, have some fun, and enjoy the lifespan that it has. If a marriage doesn't last, why would an e-fed on a message board?

The e-feds that I ran took a lot of time to do. Doing the matches, getting people to help, and once in awhile getting completely screwed by the helpers was very time consuming and taxing.

We also didn't seem to have enough members to keep it moving. I personally think if you dip below ten members you are really straining yourself to keep it together.

I'll tell you what you guys need to do in order to help an idea like this work - you need to send me e-mails (preferably in a press release sort of format) with details so that I can make the majority of the site readers aware of the idea. Only a small percentage of website readers visit the Forum for whatever reason, and so if I don't make these ideas public for them, they won't know to join. If one of you guys could e-mail me with a detailed press release about the idea (and all future ideas you'd like to implement) it will probably help.
