Im a big fan of wrestlers such as Foley, HBK and Rock but it must be so annoying for other wrestlers when they work all year and these guys just walk into the main matches at the biggest show of the year! No wonder no new stars can be created

Its funny, I would reckon that we have this conversation every year around WM time.

Its generally revolves around The Rock or Foley.

There are two sides to this story.

One could argue that its good for the mainstream or "casual" fan. Others would say "Screw the casual fan, this is the biggest event of the year, I know when it is"

I see both sides to this story. The Rock and Sock Connection put over Batista and Orton. In my opinion this has done wonders for the young wrestlers egos and overall perception of the casual fan.

All in all, young stars and famous vetrans could and can be utilized under the same show, the biggest show of the year. Hopefully everyone benefits.

I am also not opposed to a 4 hour Wrestlemania each year.

I mean, I'm sure Orton's not complaining. And it looks like Muhhamad Hassan is gonna get some notoreity thanks to Foley also.

The fact is, that you have to cater to what the fans want, and if seeing a return match from Foley or the Rock will draw fans, then you book it. Wrestlemania is 4 hours long, there's more than enough time to showcase up-and-coming stars (Cena vs. Big Show, for example, last year), as well as providing time for established stars

Some people made a big deal about Rock and Foley being on the show, but honestly, was there anybody in the entire company who deserved to be on the card that was left out? Hell, even Garrison Cade and the Bashams made the card.

Thats the great thing about Mick Foley he comes back year after year, Hardcore Legend. Toughest SOB in this enviroment..... Hell in a cell survivor..... Madman Cactus Jack who loves a streetfight.... Thumbtacks and 2x4`s wrapped in barbed wire... veterain of japanese deathmatchs.... All sounds impressive and really is but his talent is losing (and I say that with respect) when he loses to a guy he makes that guy. Wrestlemania main event this year will most likley be HHH vs Orton. Both guys owe a debt to Foley for getting them over/even more over.
