Rep Power: 24 | Hulk Hogan he was born into this generation and started wrestling now? Or would he just be another Test? I think it is a pretty hard call to make. I mean, there are a lot of factors to account for but let's just say he had the same skill set as he did then. Would his personallity take him as far as it did back then, now?

Rep Power: 17 | I'd say Hogan would fail terribly if he was just starting out with his current style. That old school wrestling doesn't work with today's fans. The only time it does work is when the legends do it, and it reminds us older fans of the good ole days of wrestling. With the younger fans there's no way it works. They want exciting moves, hi-flying stuff, etc. Look at new guys who have similiar skill levels as Hogan (two moves: punch & kick). They aren't over with fans at all.
His charisma wouldn't be nearly as effective in today's wrestling either. Younger fans like the bad ass good guys like Austin, Rock. Hogan is too "goodie-goodie", even when he's trying not to be.

Rep Power: 44 | I agree with bouchie. I don't think that style would pass with the fans. Nowadays you can't get away with having a arsenal of punches and kicks with a finsiher being a leg drop. Now it is more of highflying and big spot moves.

Rep Power: 26 | I think it would all depend on his push. That can make or break a character.

Rep Power: 24 | Well Big guys usually don't do the high fly stuff and you can't honestly say that the Big Show has a lot more moves than Hogan did back then. Lets say he wasn't totally old school since well he wouldn't be old lol. Give him at least the miminum big guy skills.

Rep Power: 17 | I would doubt it, but with his charisma he might be able to get something going. It certainly wouldn't be the "take your vitimins" gimmick though.

Rep Power: 44 | yea, true. but look at big show. he has the same move set as hogan and look at where it's gotten him, he is near the top but he isn't the big draw like a HHH.

Rep Power: 7 | Hmm, if you just grabbed him from a timeportal and without adjusting for moveset inflation over the years, then yeah, I think he'd just be a Heidenreich with The Hurricane's gimmick, and would probably struggle to get over.

I bet you if he did that now, WWE would have turned him into some sort of Simon Dean character hahaha now that would be funny.

Rep Power: 23 | Hulk Hogan would've adapted. He would have been a star no doubt. Hell, he was the biggest star in 97. Why? 'Cause he adapted.
