so yeah, I've been amazingly out of the loop for a long time... this whole TNA thing, I saw a few big names... Nash & Hall, Jeff Hardy, Savage... does it look like it will ever amount to anything? And why did the WWE let Hardy go, everyone used to always say "he's the next Shawn Michaels." So yes, I've very out of the know.

TNA might start to compete. They have those big names basically for that reason only, because they're big names. They brought them in basically to get casual viewers interested, but on their telecasts they focus more on the younger, up-and-coming guys. The problem, from what i've seen, is that their guys are all really small, and dont have much in the way of personality. But some of their guys, AJ Styles in particular, are amazing
also, the rumor is that WWE let Jeff Hardy go because he had a drug problem. I dont know that for sure, so i dont want to say thats definitely it. But he took some time off, got his life together, wrestled a few independant shows, and then came to TNA, where they have a significantly lighter workload, which he apparently prefers
