| Things the WWE messed up on!!! What are some things in WWE history that they really messed up on? -The biggest messup in WWE history - The WWF vs. WCW invasion angle - Do I even have to say anything? I could have done a better job booking this one. They are handed a dream angle that people have been waiting to see for years, but nobody ever thought it would actually happen, and they mess it up. The only headliners from WCW they had were Booker T and DDP. But they decided to rush the angle. Within 2 years, WWE had signed Hogan, Nash, Hall, Goldberg, Steiner, Flair, Bischoff, so why couldn't they just wait a little longer or why couldn't they have signed these guys earlier? -nWo's return in 2002 - They were booked so weak. The angle was that they were supposed to come in and kill WWE. Hogan left after a month, and Hall was jobbing like crazy. X-pac's and Big Show's addition didn't help. When HBK joined, I thought WWE was really was gonna push the nWo, but then Nash got injured and the next week, McMahon announced that the nWo was dead. Also, McMahon was the one that brought in the nWo in the storyline, but they hardly interacted with each other. -Not having Hogan vs. Flair headline Wrestlemania 8 - It would have been a dream matchup, taking the top draw in WWE's history against the top draw in WCW/NWA's history. This was when both guys could draw some money, instead WWE thought that a double main-event (Hogan vs. Sid and Flair vs. Savage) would draw more. -Putting the title on Orton at Summerslam - I think it would have been more effective for his first title win to be at WrestleMania. -Chris Jericho's championship reign - He was booked horribly. I would say he was the worst booked champion of all-time. Rarely is a guy more over and more valuable to the company before he wins the title than after, but Jericho is an example of that. -Never putting the title on Booker T - Booker T was insanely over in 2002-2003, and I thought he would be the next big superstar. But WWE wasted him. -Never putting the title on RVD - same as Booker T, although I think Booker T was more deserving. RVD was super hot in 2001-2002 and all he got were multiple runs with the worthless Intercontinental title. I don't understand WWE's logic in not pushing these two when the fans want to see them with the title. | |||||||||||||||

| what about the way they handled christian when he had a belt, i forget wh/ one, but i believe it was ic, just recently... he lost just bout every match he had while he held the belt. i could name lots of people i liked that they should've pushed and some i don't like that got screwed. booker, rvd, brian 'spanky' kendrick (in cruiserweight), victoria (she could've maybe brought a little interest into "women's wrestling" w/ that head turning body, great gimmick she had, and her ability to do the splits for long period of time while still wrestling, grrr..... and so on. and hopefully, that deity Batista will become more than a lackey soon, but remain a heel. i can't stress enough that i want him to be heel forever. everyone's gonna say it, but i'll go ahead and mention it,, firing wrestlers (esp Rico) and hiring models to prance around... sure they have nice bodies, but that's why i watch porn.. i get my porn fix from porn and i'd like to get my wrestling fix from wrestling. damnit. i would also like to say that i think wwe messes up every time they have a mcmahon on the shows that isn't vince. | |||||||||||||||

| Other things i think they messed up: the Diva Search. The concept maybe could have worked, but prancing a bunch of D-list celebrities on stage and letting them make fools of themselves was terrible. And Carmella should've won Not giving Tough Enough its own show. This could have been because of the "inside" nature of the show, but that was what i liked about it before. I got to learn the intricacies of the business, and i found that very entertaining. Also, it gave you a better feel for the personalities of the contestants, which is very important. Brock vs. Goldberg This isnt really their fault, but this should have been an epic confrontation, and instead it ended up being possibly the most disappointing match of all time Rushing JBL's push The character is great. Too bad it was forced down our throats and he was made champion before any sort of credibility was built up | |||||||||||||||

| Not Having a PPV Hogan v Austin Match - It's way too late for that to be a big draw now, they really should have had it in the Wrestle Mania that had The Rock vs Hogan. I am a bigger fan of the Rock than Austin, and feel that he had already become a bigger name than Austin by that Wrestle Mania, but I still would have perfered an Austin Hogan match for WM, and saved Rock - Hogan for one of those In Your House equivalent PPV's. It would have been the guy who started the Attitude Era vs the guy who started the Rock n' Wrestling Era. But, now not only do we not have an Austin-Hogan match for the big stage, I don't even know if it'd mean anything if we had one anymore. Lou | ||||||||||||||

| Great topic !! Not letting the JBL character develop over time. All we see is Bradshaw. I cant remember how many people have said "He is the guy that just jobbed to 2 Hotty and Rikishi on VELOCITY !! Stone Cold wasnt built overnight. The People's Champion wasnt built overnight. For us to take JBL as a legit champion they should have taken the time to tell the story. Real wrestling fans are there every week no matter what. Concentrate on those people first and the rest will follow. | |||||||||||||||

| the WCW angle was doomed to fail from the start. If Goldberg, Flair, Sting and the nWo all came in together then we would be in business.. and the angle would still be continuing today. But that aside.. the other angle they fucked up was the ECW thing... on of the most awesome moments in WWF history... but it turned sour as soon as it became a McMahon family feud. Got a good angle? get the Mcmahons in to fuck it up | ||||||||||||||

| The NWO angle was probably fucked up on purpose. Vince hates shit that he didnt start as we all know... The wcw angle was definitly horrid too, I Couldnt stand how they acted on that. Now making Chris Jericho into a star was the worst IMO thats just unexcusable... | |||||||||||||||
