Probably the worst Raw in a while. The Battle Royale had waaaay too many commercial breaks in it, the tag team title match was really rushed, and the Lingere Show was probably the biggest waste of air time since the Diva Contest. The main event could have been cool, of not for the stupid rehashed storyline.

Unoriginal, but entertaining. I'm going bullet points to avoid the longest, most rambling paragraph ever:

- Batista vs. Snitsky was kind of interesting. Batista rules!
- Poor Stevie, now Vinnie Mac is even calling him out on the fact that he'll never get a push. At least he has a job...
- The battle royal finish was trite, but it served its purpose, so all is forgiven.
- Lawler/Flair would've been 10x better 20 years ago. Not bad, but kind of pointless.
- How can it be that WWE plans to run a women's division on 4 woman wrestlers (and, unfortunately, Stacy)? Granted they did keep 3 of the best and, well, people like Lita. Too bad they didn't give Gail, Jazz, Shaniqua, and Nidia a shot. Speaking of, why doesn't Smackdown have a women's division? Not that it draws, but at least a Shaniqua/Gail match would be more entertaining than Dawn Marie vs. Torrie part 96.
- Speaking of divas, I like eye candy, but the lingerie show was too long. Put a bunch of new no-name divas is in a ring with no character development...yawn. I do like Christy and Stacy - they're both hot. The other girls' jerseys fit OK but their helmets have a few dings...if you know what I mean.
- It appears that this crowd doesn't love Eugene as much as the last few weeks' crowds. Interesting.
- Maven is FINALLY turning heel!!! Woohoo!
- I liked how they left the World Title situation up in the air like they did. Granted, the finish has been done before, thoguh not really in a triple threat match (that I can recall). Maybe to resolve this situation, the Elimination Chamber can take a trip down to the Caribbean for New Year's Revolution?? That'd be sweet.

More than anything, this week's Raw makes me want to watch next week's Raw, and isn't that the real goal here???

Maybe Vince calling out Stevie is the beginning of some strange push that he read about on KYN. haha

But seriously folks.

Batista is planting his own seeds for a face turn perfectly. The crowd was going wild for him and he really seemed to be enjoying getting a nice pop for a change. Well booked Royal Rumble. I honestly didnt see any problem with the double elimination/win. It made for an entertaining Triple Threat match at the end of Raw.

I also found it quite stupid though that Edge and Benoit would go after each other at all. They should have said. "Lets take out HHH first, then go after each other" Basic logic overlooked.

I have no idea what they plan on doing with this. Perhaps a Fatal Four Way with Y2J, HHH, Edge and Benoit? Y2J will want to wrestle the champ and all 3 will claim it.

Lita looks like her boobs are bigger.

I really wish Eugene would just go away. Nick Dinsmore I dont mind at all, but Eugene is spent.

The WWE really dropped the ball with the Womens division. What had finally become entertaining on a weekly basis is now a joke with cheese girls showing off their average bodies (except Christy, what a behind). Ho hum. Been there done that. Lets wrestle Vince.

But I am overall looking forward to next weeks episode.

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

Let's hope Batista's face turn doesn't take as long to happen as Maven's heel turn did.

Even if it has been done before, I liked the cliffhanger ending. I think that is something WWE has really lacked recently. Back when Raw was at its peak it seemed like every week we were left with something to think about until the following week. It's about time that they left something hanging until the next show. Remember when Stone Cold broke into Pillman's house, even though you knew Pillman didn't shoot Austin you still had to tune in the following week to see what happened.

Indeed. There seems a lot of internet beef with the cliffhanger ending. I thought it was fantastic.

Big Dave is finally getting the push he's deserved for months. Like it's already been said, his push is being handled really well, and he was dominant in the Rumble. He kicked ass. The Snitsky confrontation was cool too - they've done that before in a Rumble, with a Batista and Kane showdown. I always like the '2 big guys left standing to duke it out' spots. Dave eliminating Flair was also superb. I was marking out like mad for him to win. Sadly, he didn't - but the Triple Threat that came as a result was great, so no complaints there.

i didnt have a problem with a cliffhanger ending, my problem was with both "controversial" finishes just being rehashes of previous matches

At least the battle royal finish hasnt been done in like 10 years...the simultaneous tap/pin was just done 2 years ago with Angle and Taker

Think about it guys. The cliffhanger thing is great and all, but can u imagine if someone had won the title right there. It would have been amazing.
