This was the first episode I watched in a few weeks and I was thoroughly entertained.

First off, having Maven be the focal point was a refreshing change. He showed a lot of charisma and comfort on the mic, and hopefully it's a sign of good things to come.

The build-up to the main event was superb, in my opinion. The conversation with him and HHH was awesome, as were the spots where people were trying to sway his opinion. I also loved how Maven was wary of each person, especially Randy Orton and his no title shot stipulation. Those kinds of details are often overlooked, and it was nice to see such attention to detail.

Another good thing was that both options were totally believable, and could have gone either way. Then, once the match started, I also thought it could have gone either way. The teased dissention between HHH and Batista was good, because it made me think maybe Batista would turn. The match itself may have been a mess, but the build-up was brilliant.

The other matches on the show were solid, and it was great seeing E+C back together. They were my favorite tag team for a while, and it was good that they made a big deal about them reuniting.

looking ahead, I think each of the 4 Survivor Series winners will book himself against HHH, and HHH will win every week until the last, where either Benoit or Jericho will win the title thanks to a Batista face turn.

I wasnt too happy how Edge freaked out on Christian. He yells "Its all your fault!" then covers by saying "Its everybodys fault" Cheese. I realize they are trying to play off the newly turned heel Edge, but come on. Beat on a face, not a heel that you spent years together with.

Also, Christian must like really shitty wrestling gear, because his friggin closet is full of the crap. That is the MAJOR flaw in his character. Besides that he is money.

I dont see a Batista heel turn, if anything Flair would be the one that goes face. He is due. If the WWE were smart they would cash in on Flairs ability to pop crowds and be the big face the company needs right now. Have him team up with Orton against Batista and HHH.

Does anyone else see Lita going a little nuts? I believe they will push her and at the same time have her go a little crazy. Then she will choose between Kane and Hardy when they both come back.

The whole Maven thing was such a disappointment in my eyes. I couldnt agree more with JV on this one. The buildup was fantastic, and it was a completely fresh face, then the WWE blows it by having JR and King shoot their mouths off about how strange it is that the fans would think he wouldnt swerve.

Terrible payoff. Plus they did nothing to make Maven look legit (even though his wrestling skills look marginally better than they did 2 years ago).

I do see HHH pulling off wins against Jericho, Benoit and Orton in that order.

I see Triple H beating Benoit next week when Maven turns heel, the week after Y2J as all of evolution barred from ringside so he can beat Triple H, the the week after Y2J Vs Orton Triple H comes in and levels them both with a chair.

Then Y2J and Triple H can fued (like Rock/Mankind) Randy wins the rumble leading to Orton/Triple H at Mania
