ECW The Rise and Fall Of DVD

If im not mistaken this DVD is out in the U.S today.....

for everyone whos got it, or gona get it...get back in here with opinions on the main feature......sure we all know the extra matches could have been picked better but too late to moan about that...

should be gettin my copy very soon..

seeming WWE like making polls these days, i think it'd be a good feature for them to put up a poll allowing us fans to choose what best matches should go on a wrestlers dvd.....e.g the bret hart one coming up.....cuz sumtimes they do miss out on some really good matches.

Thats actually a really good idea, letting the fans vote on what goes on the DVD.

The problem with ECW is, how do you pick 10 or so matches out of an 8-year collection of matches? I dont know exactly whats on it, but i would imagine they would want to avoid some of the more "extreme" matches, such as the one where Tazz choked Tajiri with a length of barbed wire, or any New Jack match

Basically, I think they should have let each major WWE star that wrestled in ECW (RVD, Tazz, Dudleys, Rhyno, etc.) pick their favorite match, and then throw in a few bonus matches, such as a Foley match

I read a bunch of reviews on Amazon.com, and they all said it was amazing. The documentary portion is almost 3 hours long, and covers EVERYTHING.

I've never bought a WWE DVD before, but I might have to pick this up. I only watched ECW occasionally when it was around, and I really feel like I missed out. i just figured they would be around forever

I was pleased with it at the time of purchase, still am, the extras were good...however i felt they missed out on a lot......for one they never mentioned Sting, and how he was significant to wcw's success, probably due to the fact that he didnt want to sign to wwe at the time of the invasion angle......

apart from that it focused too much on bischoff and what he did, rather then the storylines, specific matches and so on....

I still reccomend this dvd, one 'extra' I particularly liked was jim cornettes one where he talked non stop about the business at the time and was brutally honest...

on a side not I should be getting a number of DVD's soon, so If JV wants some reviews on this site I wouldnt mind at all...let me know

Amazon reviewers are famous for lying their famous asses off.

I once bought a book called, "How to make love like Miakal" because of great reviews and all it was was a picture of me taking a nap.
