Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Well the plan righ now for Turning Point, the next TNA PPV, is a 6 man tag. Svage, Styles, and Hardy against Jarrett, Nash and Hall. I think its a great idea. You can hide the weakness of Hardy, Nash , Hall, and Savage and you can let two guys like Jarrett and Styles work most of the match. Its a great way to get the big names in one match so they don't fill up the card with their own seperate ones. All the old guys will also look decent becuase they can brawl and sit on the apron most of the match. AJ will also be there to make sure its a good match. Because hes becoming like Kurt Angle and Flair in his heyday Styles is proving he can get a good match out of anyone.

Thats not good business. Plus the fact that Jeff Jarrett is probably as boring as he was in the WWE. Snooze city. FYI, I am taping TNA today so I can offically tell you it stinks. To be honest though, I would friggin love it if they could get more exposure.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I love the tangents these posts get on sometimes! I'll throw in my voice on both topics in this thread: As far as Billy Gunn hitting TNA, why not use what brought him to the dance to get him over? If pairing him up with the Road Dogg...ahem...B.G. James will draw attention (and therefore money) to TNA, why wouldn't they do it? Sure, the New Age Outlaws got stale towards the end of their WWE run, but that's been what - 4 or 5 years ago now? I'd watch TNA if they could book those guys to be like their old selves. Plus, having the N.A.O. reunited would have an instant built-in feud with Konnan & Ron Killings, James' 3 Live Kru running buddies, which I think would be a good kick-off feud for them. As far as a name goes? Eh, nothing good comes to mind - Vince is very smart to trademark his talents' names the way he does. Part II: The use of older talent in TNA (and WWE). I think it's a tough call here. On one hand, familiar names and faces draw money easier than do new names and faces. On the other hand, most of the familiar names and faces are way past their prime and can't deliver a quality match to save their lives. Does this mean that they don't have a place on the roster? Does this mean that they should be main eventers? Does this mean that they should be enhancement talent? The answer to all is "not necessarily." It depends on the guy, what he can do in the ring, and if he can draw crowds. If he's still competent in these areas (like Ric Flair), keep him around, but keep him balanced. If he hasn't been competent for years and is milking his friendship with high-powered guys in the business to stay in the spotlight (Hall, Nash), then get rid of them. Too bad politics take precedent over talent.

I don't care what anybody says, it is a huge mistake for TNA to let Jarrett defend against Kevin Nash at their next PPV. One match on this PPV however, could be an early 2005 match of the year canidate when AJ Styles defends the X-Title against The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels in an Iron Man Match... And what is Jeff Hardy doing you ask? he is going against 350 pound Abyss in a TLC match...I'm not sure about this though, could be good but Abyss is still very green in the ring.

Styles/Daniels should be frickin' awesome. It is a shame that WWE doesn't book smaller guys with great talent better, because I'd love to see these two guys and Petey Williams go in to WWE and tear it up. Alas, they are one of the few highlights for TNA, so they can keep showing up WWE's cruiserweights in workrate and entertainment value.
