| Rankings I was watching NWA Classics on Sky and noticed that they used to have a ranking for all the WcW Wrestlers. If you reach the number 1 ranking you become the number 1 contender. If Raw and Smackdown where to do this, Who do you think would be the top ten from each show going on their record from January to now. (Please note, this is judged on how many wins they have, not who you like better.) The World Champions of both shows are not included in the ranknig. RAW 1. Benoit (Wins over HHH, HBK&HHH, Batista, HBK, Kane, and with the exception of summerslam has looked unstopable) 2. Randy Orton (Big win over Foley at WM and Backlash, Benjamin at Bad Blood. Jobed to Edge then won the title off benoit before losing to HHH.) 3. Shelton Benjamin. (2 victories over HHH, 2 victories over Jericho gives him the number 3 spot.) 4. Edge (Victories over Orton, Batista, Kane and a 3-way with HBK and Benoit) 5. Big "Dave" Batista. (A victory over Jericho, Orton, A run with the Tag Titles etc) 6. Kane. (always there or there abouts, but jobbed to Matt hardy and Snitsky means he is down at number 5.) 7. Jericho (A former World Champion and had wins over Christian and Tomko but is just jobbing way too much to get any higher up the rankings.) 8. HBK (Jobbed to HHH a lot, Jobbed to Benoit & HHH. Hasn't been Wrestling that much but has been jobbing a lot this year.) 9. Christian. (The big win at Wrestlemania earns captain Charisma 9th spot.) 10. Matt Hardy (A victory over kane gives Matt 10th spot) Smackdown! 1. Kurt Angle (2 Victories over Eddie although he did job to Eddie once and the Big Show once, he still comes in at number one by my count.) 2. Eddie Geurrero (Victories over Brock and Angle, Luther riegns and Chavo earn Latino Heat the number 2 spot.) 3. John Cena (Victories over The Big Show, Dupree and Booker) 4 The Undertaker (Hasn't been there much, has a victory over Kane and HiedenRiech but Jobbed to JBL) 5. Booker T (A couple of wins over Cena ) 6. RVD (Beats Dupree every week) 7. Chavo Geurrero (Holds a win or two over Rey Mysterio and had a semi decent Cruiser run.) 8. Rey Mysterio (A shock win over Angle, jobbed to Chavo) 9. Rene Dupree. (Picked up a few wins in tag action, jobs to RVD a lot.) 10. Billy Kidman (Picked up a good few tag wins over Dudleys etc. Beat Paul London.) I'm probably leaving someone out | |||||||||||||||

| i like that concept. every match is important since it can affect the standings. also, it makes the #1 contender seem less arbitrary than it is now. and it also forces the booking committee to give a guy a series of wins before he gets a title. that way, no rushed JBL title pushes | |||||||||||||||
