buried

I think the wrestler that has been buried, is Booker T. Booker T was huge in WCW. Once he came to wwe he was supposed to be the next big thing, but if you dont remember at WrestlemaniaXIX has should have won the world title but "politics" ie: HHH kept him from reaching that height. Ever since then WWE has done nothing to build him into the mega star he should be.

RVD when he arrived just before Invasion was the most over guy in the whole company. Now he is stuck treading water in the smackdown tag division. What a waste.

I think that we have to take the term "huge in WCW" with a grain of salt. Let's face it, Scott Steiner was a big deal in WCW and he sank straight to the bottom of WWE's roster. A few weeks before Booker won the WCW Title, he had been "G.I. Bro" in the MIA faction. That's not exactly what I'd call top caliber booking.

Back to the topic, I think RVD could have been booked MUCH better. His mic skills are crap but he can wrestle his butt off. They should have let Heyman create some good storylines for Rob and allow him book his matches the way they were in ECW. Paul E could have saved Tazz's wrestling career, too. I like Tazz behind the booth but he got a Raw deal with the way his matches were booked.

On a side note, I remember reading in the Ross Report (before ECW folded) how WWE really wanted Paul Heyman and that Jim "drank Paul's kool-aid." Its funny that even after all of that butt-kissing, they still weren't ready for Paul's ideas.

-Vader was past his prime when WWE had him. He was also too heavy and couldn't lose the weight.

-Kane never had any potential to be anything more than a transitional champ. He's a gimmick. He's living the life of a gimmick.

-Tazz. A great wrestler. IN ECW. He, as I'm sure you know, just doesn't have the size to compete in WWE. And Vince isn't going to change the ring size and all the wrestlers just for one guy. In my opinion, Tazz is very lucky to get what he got. Let's not forget that broadcasters typically don't get injured.

I believe that the guy to have gotten the worst treatment, by far, is Dusty Rhodes.

In NWA the guy was one of the hottest things on the mic, a massive draw, and a three time World Champion. In WWE he seemed to just be a toy for Vince to humiliate.

He went from a serious wrestler, one of the most serious ever, to a guy wearing black and yellow polkadots like a Vegas show girl.

even though i'm not a huge fan, big poppa pump steiner did get pushed aside rather quickly, but he was getting too old and stale anyways.
also, and i can't blame him for leaving due to not getting any matches, brian 'spanky' kendrick
and even though shannon moore does get air time, if anyone saw him this past thursday, they were prolly wondering what the hell? we hardly see him, i can't even remember the last time he won a match, and now a drastic (and ugly) new costume, w/ a cute hawk....
i wonder if they'd push rvd more if he wouldn't talk about pot every time he's on the mic,, i think it's funny when he does, but that's not exactly something vince should be wanting to push.
also, i think miakal is right about dusty, i think vince just hates the rhodes family, look at the crap they gave gold dust to do at the end. he was a funny heel back in the days of his feud w/ razor and etc, but they didn't know what to do w/ him in the end

now, on to the hotter side, Victoria and Steven Richards. all i have to say is what the hell. but at least he's not in drag anymore, but why was he to begin w/? and when will victoria get her own match again so maybe i can see her do those splits for over a minute again while the other girl climbs on her... oh yeah, slowly.
