| TNA is somewhat entertaining but they are missing the creative storylines and polarized characters that make for dramatic TV. Their in-ring ability is head-and-shoulders above WWE, but that may be, in part, due to Vince asking his workers to limit their high-impact moves. I'm sure he's concerned about injuries since so many workers keep going down with injuries.
I do hope that TNA succeeds because competition helps produce creativity. I think for that company to gain credibility, though, Jarrett needs to stop "Levesque'ing" the TNA World Title. I just don't consider him a legit champion and his mic skills have never been great. I understand that he runs TNA and that he's the most established heel in the company but he's not very entertaining. His entrance music doesn't fit his character, that spaceman-silver coat he wears to the ring is ridiculous, and I think he gets heat because he annoys the crap out of people, not because he's a good heel that people "love to hate." |
