WWE Anthology 2: The Saga Continues

With the up and coming release of WWE Theme Addicts, I'm wondering what happened to the plans to release a follow-up to WWE The Anthology? I found sites several months ago that had track listings and plans to release in the summer of 2004. Well that's come and gone now and I haven't heard anything since. Does anyone know what's going on with this project, if anything?

There's only two tracks on there that I particularly like. Jim Johnston was in such a rich veign of form a few years back but now most of the guys come out to such generic crap it's hard to tell one theme from the other. It's a shame the new Randy Orton one isn't on.

Wasn't Teddy Long's entrance music originally Rodney Mack's theme? Thus it being call the "MackMilitant?" This insults both characters because #1 - by not giving Teddy his own theme, you make him seem like a less important character and #2 - by not acknowledging that this is Mack's theme, you completely disregard who the song was intended for.

That would have been like releasing Volume 4 with "It's My Time" and then calling it Chyna's theme song. Or releasing Brock's theme song but labeling it as Paul Heyman's.

Granted, Mack sucks and nobody's going to give it much thought. But do ya get what I'm saying?

Man, this selection this time around pretty much sucks. The only ones that seem to be decent are Evolution's and Cena's. Just my opinion. They used to have great compilations, what's going on now?
