What's Shocked You The Most in Wrestling?

What things in wrestling have actually shocked you?
Owen Hart's death is probably one the of most shocking things I ever saw. Also...when Hart piledrived Austin and injured him and Austin still went on to win the match....and when VInce appeared on Nitro..and said he bought WCW.

All the things you mentioned, as well as when Eric Bischoff showed up on RAW as the new GM. When he and Vince hugged, it seemed so surreal.

JVN's Number 1 Grisham Mark !!

Owen's death, obviously. McMahon on Nitro (or technically, broadcasting to Nitro from Raw), not so much. Aside from Owen's death, the one that stands out for me is the Bret Hart screw-job at the Survivor Series. It was pretty common knowledge going in that Bret was leaving, and it was common knowledge that he didn't want to drop the belt to Shawn. I'd also heard before that match that Bret had been warned (from The Honky Tonk Man and Vader, apparently) about a possible screw-job. So to sit at home and watch Earl Hebner and Vince McMahon both call for the bell when Bret clearly hadn't submitted, was a visual I'll probably never forget.

When Alundra Blaze threw the origional WWE Women's title in a dinkey little trash bin on WCW Monday Nitro.

When DDP was reveailed to be Sara's Stalker

When Jamie-San turned out to be Amaerican

When David Arquette won the World Title

When JBL won the WWE title

When WCW jobbers like Norman Smiley, Fit Finlay and Ernest Miller got monster pushes from the company.

When Fit Finlay won the WCW Title (now that's spontiaity).

Sadly when Owen died.

At Royal Rumble 2000 when Mae Young took off her evening gown and her wrinkly old titties were flopping around. I was also shocked to shit when Bubba powerbombed her off the stage through a table.

When Shawn Micahels passed out mid-match. I know it was staged, but I was only 14 at the time, and he was my idol. It was just plain scary.

Hehe, beat me to that one Matt. For a single moment I think Bischoff wins it with his first appearance on Raw. That was bizarre, yet truly inspired.

When Rick Rude appeared on both RAW and Nitro. Also when The Hitman won his first WWF World Title.
