Worst wrestler to hold the strap

Well we just did best wrestler never to win the title so how about flipping the coin.
Who do you think is the worst wrestler to ever hold the title. I think we should keep it to WWE as if WCW is counted sure we could all agree on David Arquette or even Bischoff himself.
Don't count just in ring ability, but the whole package, which I think is the key to a good champ.
While I thought Vince had no right being champ, it thankfully only lasted four days so for my mind it has to be Yokozuna. The 80s were over but the WWF were still determined to keep a big man in the limelight. Bad on the mic and nearly as bad in the ring.

I would have to disagree. The Yokozuna gimmick was good and he was pretty good in the ring and fast for that matter. The truth is, WWE/F hasnt had any really bad champions. Bradshaw would be my choice, even tho he has impressed since becoming champion. He's working that gimmick to perfection and his mic skills are really good. Too bad he cant wrestle for crap. And too bad he will always be remembered for being a drinking bully. Also Diesel was pretty bad. At a time when the WWF had alot of great superstars, Diesel did not deserve the strap. He was one of my faves back then tho lol.

John Bradshaw Layfield. While I like the new JBL character, I just don't think it's championship material.

Bradshaw has got be the worst wrestler to ever hold the world title. Hogan was a bad wrestler, great showman, same for Warrior. Nash was a horrible wrestler and his title reign was a joke. In WCW/NWA I would have to say that Ron Simmons was bad wrestler that was mainly done for PR reasons. WWE is the most guilty of having horrible workers as champs becuase they are more about who is hot at the time and not who can put on a good match.

If I had to pick the worst WWE Champion ever, I'd have to go with Sycho Sid. His gimmick was uninteresting, his ring work shoddy at best, and his promos were brutal to listen to. What did he have in common with most WWE wrestlers who get a push without ability? Size. But, he had that intangible something to set him apart from the other big men - it's called a permullet. Bad, bad, bad. At least Vinnie Mac had charisma.

And, though we were asked to limit it to WWE Champions only, I'll throw in my vote for the worst WCW Champion ever, as well. I could be mean and go with Sid again, but there is someone who I feel is worse than Sid. That dubious honor goes to none other than DDP. Sure, he had charisma. But, his character wasn't anything that could draw and he didn't look like much more than enhancement talent - in fact, he was low card enhancement talent a few years before becoming the champion! There was a reason why WWE only got him as high up their ladder as the European Champion (which, at that time, was about as meaningful as the short-lived WCW 6-Man Tag Team Championship). He was simply a lowcarder who was in the former right place at the supposedly right time - e.g. WCW had gone to hell in a handbasket and DDP was the one holding the handle.
