I think the Eugene gimmick will lose its appeal and Dinsmore will unfortunately be left out in the cold

Tomko has shown me little in the way of persona;ity or charisma. I wouldnt expect him to be too successful

Akio can be a solid cruiserweight. His matches in WCW were phenomenal, and i saw a handful of his TNA matches, which were also impressive. I doubt he'll get a fair chance, however

Kenzo Suzuki just doesnt do it for me. I cant tell you why. He just bores me

Of all the big men theyve introduced recently, I think Luther Reigns has the most staying power. He's competent in the ring, and was placed in a top storyline right away so he's recognizable to the crowd. We could see an HBK-Diesel type-relationship here, where Luther eventually breaks off on his own, and becomes a dominant big man.

Mordecai: terrible gimmick, average at best in the ring. Doomed from the start

Heidenreich is another guy who just bores me. He's like the 2004 version of the guy from the 80's who used to read poems on the back of frisbees and throw them into the crowd. Does anyone remember who that was?

Paul London could and should hold down the cruiserweight division for a while. He's amazing in the ring, has a decent look to him, and the feud with Kidman has actually been interesting.

Orlando Jordan has a good look and his position in a main-event storyline should help him get over. Hopefully his relationship with JBL becomes more HBK-HHH and less DiBiase-Virgil

Simon Dean was incredible in ECW as Nova, and I've only seen one of his promos so far, but it looks like he plays the character well. Like Eugene, I dont think the gimmick has staying power, and people will tire of it quickly

Carlito Caribbean Cool (Triple C?) has a good look, and a decent gimmick, but i have no idea how he is in the ring. The gimmick is a bit of a Razor Ramon rehash, but who knows, it might catch on

I ranked these guys based on a few things. Ring Skills, Look, Mic Skills and Charisma. 0 is the worst, 10 is the best. They are also scaled for this list. If someone gets a 10, that doesnt mean he is on par with The Rock, SCSA etc etc. It is based on the others here in this list

EUGENE - Nick Dinsmore has clearly shown that he can act and wrestle. Too bad they made him the type of gimmick that is hard to get around when it runs its course. I still like the idea of having Eugene go out with an career ending injury and have Nick Dinsmore return as his twin brother looking for revenge. All in all I would like to see Nick Dinsmore in some fashion in the WWE for years to come Overall rating 8.5
__________________________________________________ ______________

TYSON TOMKO - Has what the WWE loves.......Size. My question is why dont they take someone like Batista and roll with him? He has the size, see if he can produce in the main event. Tyson Tomko reminds me of Bret Hart.......except with no Wrestling skills, submission skills, mic skills and ability to light up a crowd. Another example of how the WWE loves big huge intimidating dudes. Tyson's future is not to bright in my eyes. Overall Rating - 4.5
__________________________________________________ ____________________

AKIO I honestly dont know enough about Akio to rank him. Whenever I do watch Smackdown, he doesnt seem to be on. Oh Well. You tell me. Overall Ranking- Incomplete

__________________________________________________ ____________________

KENZO SUZUKI - Ya know, wrestlers that cant speak English always bugged the crap out of me. Although they have found good use of guys like Tajiri and Suzuki they should be careful on how much they push them. Without the proper mic skills it would be hard for either of these guys to be Main eventers. That being said, there is something about Suzuki that I find very impressive. He has great presence, his wrestling skills are very good. Now if he could just get rid of that crazy Chinese lady. Overall Rating - 7.5

__________________________________________________ ___________________

LUTHER REIGNS - I like the way they are handling this fella. Slow and easy. Let him learn the ropes on house shows where there are no cameras picking up the piss poor action. He appears to have the look and size to make it. Hanging with Kurt Angle for the past six months probably hasnt done anything but help. I would like them to continue his slow development. After all, we have time dont we? Overall Ranking - 7.0
__________________________________________________ ____________________

MORDECAI Yeah lets through a completely green rookie in a fued with the Undertaker. Smooth. Hey lets give a green rookie way too many Vignettes and mic time. Even Smoother. Hey lets ruin this rookies career before it can even get off the ground. Smoothest. I dont blame Mordeci at all for this flop. To be thrust into that kind of spotlight would be too much for just about anyone. I will blame him if he was the asshole that decided to give him those tights and white hair. Maybe he will just come back as his OVW monkier "Seven" where he was probably much more comfortable. Overall ranking - 2.0 (all the WWE's fault)
__________________________________________________ _____________________

HEIDENREICH - Oh man, dont even get me started on this guy. I call him Steiner2004. Loose cannon backstage. Piss poor wrestling skills and way too much muscle. I am glad he is on the show that I dont watch as much. I dont see a very bright future for this fool, especially when he is raping Michael Cole as his gimmick Overall rating - 3.0
__________________________________________________ _____________________

PAUL LONDON I have literally only seen one match that London was involved in. It was with Kidman and they were defending thier tag titles. Londons moves in the ring were very impressive IMO. Although I havent seen much of this guy, he looks like a good US Title or Cruiserweight title contender in the year 2005. Overall Rating - 7.5
__________________________________________________ _____________________

ORLANDO JORDAN You would think that after sitting down and having a beer with this guy that I would automatically have a soft spot for him. That is not the case. I am pretty sure this guy shouldnt even be considered "new" anymore. I am pretty sure that he was around before the Brand Split. Remember when Undertaker shook his hand backstage after defending himself against some main eventer? Yeah, that was a while ago. I think this guy stinks and I wish they gave the Virgil2004 role to someone else. Overall Rating 5.0

Best rookie overall - Eugene

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

WWE Mid Carder

Eugene - Future of WWE for now, but hey even Mankind became Michael Foley (as well as the hardcore, Cactus Jack) eventully.

Tomko - He's okay, he bores me less than Christan. He meets the obligitory Vince McMahon size requirement and he looks real scary. Still he'll be stuck in midcard hell for his entire career in WWE.

Akio - So much tallent this guy has and he's being wasted, it sucks. The WWE made a mistake by fireing Sakoda, now he even gets less exposure than before. I would have liked to see, Jamie Noble and Kaz Hayashi team up with him again, but alas his futre is dim.

Kenzo - One of the better big guys, has plausible wrestling skills and he's funny. I like how he and his assistant try to suck up to America. Kenzo's cool with me.

Luther Reigns - Eh, he's pretty decent.

Mordecai - He deffantly wasn't ready.

Heidenreich - The minute "Little Johnny" started pushing up against Michael Cole, I was done with HI-DEN-WRITE!!!! Now he should just "Hide from sight".

Paul London - Paul is a pretty good CW, but he is bland. He was perfect when he worked with Spanky, now he's just another high flyer. WWE if you are reading this, give Paul London somthing to make him diffrent from the others. A gimmick, a mask, green hair, a vallet, a cat SOMTHING!!!

Orlando - I like this guy a lot, he has tons of potental. I would like to see him win titles aplenty, I just hope his gimmick with JBL won't burry him.

Simon Dean - Havn't seen Nova in action yet so I'll wait for an opinion. Though I do respect all that is Blue World Order.

Carlito Caribbean Cool - What an asshole. Even in Pro-Wrestling or the movies, I hate when people spit on other people who did nothing to them. If I see more of that, I garun-damn-tee I won't like him.

EUGENE: Flash-in-the-pan unless they do something with him SOON. His gimmick has run its course, the crowd has grown indifferent, and they need to let the cat out of the bag and have him revealed as a heel mastermind who isn't "special" at all. Otherwise, he's done.

TYSON TOMKO: Horrible ring work, his look is dime-a-dozen these days. He won't last unless he learns to work and speak.

AKIO: Needs a character badly. Had great potential when he came in with Sakoda as Tajiri's "Japanese Mafia." Since then, he hasn't done squat. Good worker, no reason to watch him.

KENZO SUZUKI: Decent enough character and passable ring work. Won't ever get more over than he is now, as he just doesn't have the "it" factor to get him up the ranks.

LUTHER REIGNS: The best "big man" to come along in quite some time. Could have potential with some seasoning. Already off to a good start, though.

MORDECAI: Doomed from the beginning. He had more time with build-up promos than he did time on the WWE roster before being sent back to Louisville. Needs a lot of work and a non-1994 gimmick.

HEIDENREICH: Better than his first run, but needs to drop the corny "That was a poem by Heidenreich" schtick. Time will tell if his ringwork has improved, but having Paul Heyman at his side certainly plays to his favor.

PAUL LONDON: I'm big on him, but WWE will never make him more than a CW or Tag champion due to his size and look. Awesome worker and fun to watch - I hope he sticks around.

ORLANDO JORDAN: Significantly more interesting since aligning with JBL. His ring work is decent, but nothing extraordinary. He'll have to get over with his character, although he looks to be heading down the path of Virgil, so I don't have too high of hopes for him.

SIMON DEAN: Won't last with this gimmick. Corny 90's gimmicks seem to be trying to make a comeback, but they aren't being too successful thus far. He's a rehash of an already-bad gimmick and I don't expect him to last long.

CARLITO CARRIBEAN COOL: Well, he's no Scott Hall, that's for sure. I haven't ever seen any of his ring work, so maybe that'll help, but the gimmick does nothing for me.

MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED: Luther Reigns (big size + capable in-ring skills + decent mic work = WWE's next golden boy)

EUGENE - One of the dumbest gimmicks ever. It is also a gimmick that is pretty much a career killer. Unless he gets masked he will always be linked to Eugene and never be taken serious in a serious gimmick. It sucks that he got stuck with the gimmick because he actually is a good wrestler. He also has great mic and acting skills which he has shown with the Eugene character since he can pull it off perfect. Wrestling - 9/10 Mic/Acting - 9/10 Gimmick - 0/10

TYSON TOMKO - Nathan Jones v2.0. Ok that might be a little harsh because he isn't as bad. But he still is awful. 2/10

AKIO - He was great in WCW and NWA. I had also started to watch Heat for a while because he in some really good matches. Then he got pushed to Smackdown and was still good in the ring but it seemed they toned down his wrestling like they did with Rey even when you compare it to what he was doing on Heat. It also didn't help that the angle he was involved in didn't go anywhere. He needs to get back to NWA. WWE isn't the place for cruiserweights. 9/10

KENZO SUZUKI - He is pretty good now since he has improved a lot. He used to be the Japanese Goldberg......... No I am not saying that as a compliment since a lot of people are clueless Goldberg fans. I am saying that because he was complete crap like Goldberg. With how much he has improved I can tell he puts a lot of working into developing as a wrestler and that is something that impresses me a lot. If he continues to work hard I can see him becoming better. I also see teaming with Rene helping him. IMO Rene is the third best wrestler on Smackdown right now and he has also managed to get over with the fans which could help Kenzo get over a litte. Fans were actually starting to cheer the French Tickler and I heard WWE doesn't want him using it since he is supposed to be a heel. Which sucks because the French Tickler was great. But like I said I see Kenzo teaming with Rene as a very good thing for his career. 7/10

LUTHER REIGNS - I have not seen enough of him to say anything. I have heard he is average though. N/A

MORDECAI - I liked the gimmick, thought he was an average wrestler and hated the awful attire. 4/10

HEIDENREICH (still quite new) - I have not seen him since the Little Johnny stuff. But now I have heard he tried to rape Cole or something. He seemed like an average at best wrestler. Also been hearing a lot about a backstage attitude. 2/10

PAUL LONDON (still quite new) - Same as Luther that I have not seen enough of him to make up my mind. But I have heard a lot of good things. N/A

ORLANDO JORDAN (still quite new) - He did seem like a good wrestler the last time I saw him but I have still not seen enough to make up my mind. So I won't rate him until I see more of him. N/A

-------------------------------------------

Best Overall: (Tie) Akio and Nick. I said Nick because the Eugene gimmick sucks. Like I said before Akio is also with the wrong company. WWE is the worst place for cruiserweights. When Vince isn't impressed by Ultimo you know there is problems.

WWE Show Opener

EUGENE - Inventive if controversial gimmick that Dinsmore to his credit, carries off perfectly. His wrestling style, mannerisms, and promo ability comes off great juxtaposed against what he has to work with. A new age Hacksaw Jim Duggan if you will. In saying that, this kinda gimmick needs more depth to it to become successful. But, for what he's done so far, huge props. Give it 7/10

TYSON TOMKO - Agree totally with JVs sentiments when he calls him the TCMM (the crappy match master). Hes horrible on the mic, hes worse in the ring, all he has is look. No real domineering prescence either coz he ends up looking like a tool with the grunting he ends up doing.

AKIO - I love this guys work. Both when part of the Jung Dragons in WCW with Knoble and Kaz Hayashi, and the Flying Elvises in NWA-TNA, he was great. In-ring work is solid, and if he's used in the right way he can be huge. More of a Jeff Hardy huge, but huge nevertheless. 8/10

KENZO SUZUKI - From the moment he debuted I didnt like the way he came off, both in the ring or in promos. Now he's developed a sense of humour and got himself a charismatic partner he gets exposure and the ability to tweak his character more. Im not sure the 'Japanese emperor' gimmick in its first intension will work, but I can see him turning into something workable. Matches arent horrible, and he has a slow, plodding style, but it works I guess. 6/10

LUTHER REIGNS - Of all the new stars, hes the one WWE has been building right. Being the bodyguard of Kurt meant his physical size was something people immediately got to grips with and it created a sense of intrigue about just what kind of wrestler he'd be. His first outing at Judgment Day was OK, his work since has been pretty good. In terms of mannerisms he reminds me of a green Brock Lesnar, and I love his finisher. In terms of potential and longevity, definitely a solid 8.5.

MORDECAI - Had a decent gimmick in principle to work with but the ring attire sucked and he just didnt have that character nailed. I don't understand why they didnt just leave him in the same mould as his OVW character, Seven.

HEIDENREICH (still quite new) - I really hate this guy. From his lisp to his overexaggerated facial expression to generally sucking altogether. 2/10

PAUL LONDON - He's great, I think he needs more exposure, as does the entire cruiserweight division, and a proper push to boot. His work in RoH that i've seen was amazing. 8/10

ORLANDO JORDAN - I don't particularly care for his gimmick or his ring/mic work. He sucks. 3/10.

Top Scorer

Eugene - Hey I will never see Eugene as World Champion, but then again I never saw The Animal, The Bushwackers or Kamala as World Champions, and yet they were big fan favorites. Eugene is ok in my book.

Tomko - He's got a good look, but his mat skills are brutal. If he learns how to wrestle, then I see a bright future for him.

Akio - As good as he is, he will be gone in a year max...hes great in the ring, but hes got no direction.

Kenzo - I hated him at the beginning, but now I kinda like this guy...he and Rene make a great team. I dont see him ever winning the World Title, but he will have a good future....his wife is awesome btw...she makes me laugh lol.

Luther Reigns - I dont know why, but I really like the way WWE used him so far. Hes ok in the ring and his finisher rocks. He will be ok.

Mordecai - He wasn't ready.

Heidenreich - He sux.

Paul London - This guy is awesome in the ring..hes good opn the mic...and hes got the looks. A future worl champ imo.

Orlando Jordan - I like this guy teaming up with JBL. The US Title would fit him well. Great future.

Simon Dean - I dont really know if I like his gimmick, but his ECW gimmick was awesome. Nova and Hurricane could have made a good team.

Carlito Caribbean Cool - I fkn love this guy...his vignettes have been amazing lol..."can't you see Carlitos on the phone" lol lol lol lol lol lol...If he can wrestle Im grooving.

This is my list from Best to Worse:

Carlito Caribbean Cool - 10
Paul London - 9
Eugene - 8
OJ - 7.5
Kenzo Suzuki - 7
Luther Reigns - 6.5
Simon Dean - 5.5
Tyson Tomko - 5
Akio - 5
Hidenreich - 2.5
Mordecai - N/A
And they say it's the foreign man I should fear!
But, it's my own kind doin all the killin' here!!!

Yeah the most likely to suceed will be either Luther or Orlando because they have a decent look, decent ability, and are big guys which WWE love.

WWE will almost certainly drop the ball with London which is a shame because I've seen this guy perform at an incredibly high level at TNA and Ring of Honor. He is one hell of a wrestler.
