Will TNA keep growing?

With the hiring of former WWE television production genius David Sahadi, this will keep them on tv and get better time slot next year. I am starting to think they might be compition in time if they keep going on the right track.

Yes, and maybe they'll get rid of that silly six sided ring too.

I think a better timeslot is critical to their sucess.

Better TV production is another major upgraded needed, but they seem to be headed in the right direction.

Plus maybe a couple of more people that WWE fans recognize. Maybe scoop up a Austin. Just one big time player would make a huge difference I believe.

Give something for Vinny Mac to at least think about when just dumping talent.

Oh yeah the really need a new time slot bad...that would be a start.

One thing about TNA though is the lack of a heavyweight division.

I bet out of the top 15 guys in TNA, 10 are cruiserweights. Don't get me wrong I love the action of guys such as AJ Styles, Amazing Red, Sonjay Dutt, Team Canada, etc. , but they really need some more big man athletes to compete with WWE.

Yeah Austin, Goldberg, Sting, etc. would be great. But we all know they wouldn't be in it for the long haul.

In my opinion TNA should really look at some University/Olympic wrestlers and try to build the company with fresh faces who can already mat wrestle.

I agree completely with Blitzkrieg on the heavyweights thing.

TNA are great at pissing all over WWEs cruiser division. Their entire X-Division is great TV, seeing guys like AJ Styles, Sonjay Dutt, The Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, Low Ki, hell even Michael Shane makes me wanna watch whatever TNA I can get hold of.

But their heavyweight division has who exactly? Guys like Raven, Shane Douglas, Jeff Jarrett and maybe Abyss and Sonny Siaki. Theyre OK and the matches are booked well enough but its not massive names, the only real name there that either isnt a WCW/ECW cast off that was a failed WWE experiment is Abyss, and he aint got the greatest gimmick in the world (looks like a Mankind ripoff). Even Sting doesnt wrestle regularly, and D Lo Brown is a big player there. They need a huge name in their heavyweight division to give them some credibility, someone who they could legit stand next to the WWE main event headliners and call him an equal. Someone like AJ Styles is a great example of how you can take someone who Vince doesnt classically consider a main event talent, and turn him into one. Dude rocks! They could use someone like a Doug Williams and turn him into a Brock Lesnar style wrestler, or someone like Kane, who languishes in no mans land in WWE but everyone knows is a huge name, and would be massive in terms of main event talent at TNA. Likelihood of it happening might be poor, but I think thats what they need to do, get hold of someone to light their main event scene up, that people could stand next to the likes of Undertaker or HHH or even an upper midcarder like Jericho.
