If wrestling was REAL...

Imagine if wrestling became a full contact sport.. no choreography, no preplanning and no predetermined outcomes.

What moves would have to be outlawed?

Who would be the Champions?

Would it still be Wrestling? Would we still see the high flying stuff or would it just end up being like the UFC?

If wrestling was real, any move that requires some assistance from your opponent, like a powerbomb, Rock Bottom, Angle Slam, etc. would be impossible to pull off.

the champions would be Kurt Angle on SD, Benoit on Raw. Both guys have strength, quickness, and technique, and would be tough to beat

no high-flying stuff either. it would be just like UFC

Yeah and it would be PPV only, once a month...because I'm sure they would need to heal up after each match..

All most 100 percent of matches would end in submission.

RVD would get his ass kicked. His moves take too long to set up and he takes too much time pausing so he can pose/taunt.

Fair enough.. now we have that established. What Finishers would be of any worth? and what finishers would be absolutely useless?

Hogans Leg Drop, The Peoples Elbow and the FU get the bonus for being the least painful looking moves ever. And seriously think they would be worthless in a genuine match.

I think the ankle lock would be good cuz you could break their ankle so they couldn't have walked. I would also say a choke hold cuz then you could make them pass out by restricting their oxygen to the brain.

The only finishers I can think of that would be of any use would be submission moves like the Crippler Crossface and the Angle Lock. Maybe a DDT although it's not really known as a finisher anymore, it doesn't require much help from the opponent to execute.
