Most Memorable Ref Bumps and Bad Ref Calls

I'd like to see everybody participate in this one.

I'm looking for your suggestions on the most memorable ref bumps, and most memorable bad ref calls, in wrestling history.

Of course for bad calls, one that stands out is Hulk Hogan's loss to Andre the Giant on The Main Event due to the switch-a-roo with Dave and Earl Hebner.

So let me know your thoughts on the most memorable ref bumps, and most memorable bad ref calls, in wrestling.

One of the most memorable ref bumps i've seen would have to be at the first In Your House PPV during the Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler match. Earl Hebner fell through the middle ropes and got his foot caught between them and was left hanging upside down for some time, funny looking it was...

The show was No Way Out 2003

Rock vs. Hogan II

The Hulkster has that bastard Rocky all wraped up with the Atomic leg drop......and out of nowhere the lights go out.

the lights come back on and the ref who was I believe Sylvian Grenier passes a chair to the Rock who clocks Hollywood and picks up the victory.

what a screw job.

Obviously its gotta be Tim White taking that sick bump into the Hell in the Cell during the Jericho/HHH match.

I'd have to say the Taker vs Cena match on SD! where Taker went to clothesline Cena and got the ref instead. The ref looked like Rikishi when he gets clotheslined and did that flying side spiral spin. I never seen a ref take a real wrestling bump like that. It looked like how you would see a pro wrestler take, instead of the goofy way refs usually sell bumps.

Bad Call

At BackLash 02, I remember in the Austin vs Undertaker match. Ric Flair ( the ref ) counted the 123 ( by accident ) for Undertaker when Austin foot was on the ropes. Refs do that all the time but what was funny was when Flair saw what he did on tape and he said the "S" word. LOL Flair cussin is funny.

For bad ref calls that were intentionally booked, I'd have to say anytime Eddie Guererro brought the championship belt in the ring, tossed it to the other guy while the ref wasnt looking, then laid down like he had just gotten decked. And then the ref sees Eddie down and the belt in his opponents hand and he calls for the bell, even though he never actually saw Eddie get hit with the belt

For an unintentionally bad ref call, the main event of No Way Out 2001 had Kurt Angle defending the title against the Rock. Rocky hits the Rock Bottom for what should be the finish. Angle doesnt kick out, but Hebner still stops the count at two saying that Angle kicked out. so then Rocky just picks Angle up, Rock Bottom's him again and gets the 1-2-3. that was pretty bad, especially since it was a PPV main event

I think it was Judgement Day '98, Dude Love vs. Stone Cold for the title, and Vince was the special referee. Dude Love went to hit Austin, who was being held by Vince, with the chair, but he moved and Vince took a nasty chair shot to the head, unprotected (meaning no hands up to cover his face). I still cringe when I see that. Could be the best looking chair shot I've seen.

How bout the whole Nick Patrick mess? One minute he is a heel referee the next they completely forget the gimmick, then they go back to it. That was a mess.

But the worst ref call in a match was when Earl Hebner reversed the Jericho Title win over HHH back in I would say late 99.

I cant really recall any other significant ref bumps or decisions. I wish they played a lesser role sometimes.

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....
