I've been kicking around two ideas about this for a while now.

My first idea was that they could move Eugene to Smackdown! With T.Long's comments at SummerSlam this past sunday it could play well together and Eugene will have fresh angles and it may be the boost that Smackdown needs. Who knows?


My Second idea and this is my favorite, they turn Eugene heel. Hell they could turn him heel and put him in evolution to fued against Regal.
Think about it:

How do you turn Eugene full fleged heel, have it reveal that he has been faking the retard gimmick. When he first got the job from his uncle Eric he thought it we be his ticket to success because everyone would love him cause hes not that smart and hes innocent. But then the people started getting tired of him, and he blames Regal for that by stepping in and taking the spotlight from him when he was fight Triple H. things like that.
They could set it up over the weeks with little events here and there Regal and him backstage talking and Eugene says something smart, or his actions show he's not being the retard that he is, so he then corrects himself like a retard something like that.

On second thought the don't need to put him with evolution, once he shows this mean streak, shows he actually really smart and such, so Eric Bischoff and him start working together. Eugene goes to him for favors and such. Eugene Starts slicking back his hair, cleans up the facial hair, starts wearing suits, a complete 180 from the retard he was.

I can already see them taking clips of events that have already happened and showing that MAYBE he wasn't so stupid. This could be a great long term thing. They could play it out for a while, have Eugene attack Regal one night (could be when they're going after the tag titles) reveal his secret to the world the next night, Regal demands a match with him but Eugene being the heel he is starts ducking regal, avoiding him, Bischoff puts him in a match two on one. Regal wins he gets Eugene at the PPV so on and so forth.

Hell if they were to do a little program where regal and eugene went for the tag titles they could have Regal tag himself into matches because he didn't think Eugene could do it and that just pisses Eugene off.

If they ever attempted something like that, i could see it strecthing out as far as Survivor Series before they have their first one on one PPV match.

they have a return match at the next raw ppv (unless its smackdowns trun after survivor series in which case they have the gimmick return match on raw) this stuff could lead through to the Royal Rumble at which case they go after each other in the rumble. post rumble have Eugene go for the IC title things like that. this would keep eugen fresh. People are stating to get sick of him, but at least right now they care enough about him that if anything major happens with his character it wont be a foot note on raw

I really don't know what they will do with Eugne.I think they will prolly go with him never being a tard and heel against Regal but would that make sense? He took alll those beatings from HHH after he was already over and didn't have to pretend to be a tard anymore? That wouldn't make sense.

Maybe they should have an angle where he gets electrocuted or hit in the head with a sledge hammer. then like the next week hes using big words and stuff and not retarted anymore.....no

Ya, I already came up with a storyline like that but he loses his memory and forgets he is a tard and starts acting normal and smart. I think they could pull that off if done well. have heel and faces acting like they were friends with him trying to get them to side with them etc.

Well apparently Vince does know his key demographic because the idea of Regal taking Eugene for shock therapy was the first thing that came to mind when I read the topic line. Of course Eugene would then have to turn on Regal for some dumb reson. Scary how brainwashed we all are after years of watching....

The problem with Eugene is that it's all been done far too quickly, they've already used up all of their ideas. They've had the period where it looks as if he'd be awful in the ring, then the sensational first few matches, then the aligning with a heel, turning on a heel, being managed by a face, and the big PPV match.
