Not only is your take on the crowd far from wrong but the crowd was awesome and we didn't just sit on our hands and stare at the pretty lights when things got boring. We entertained ourselves. Why shouldn't we? We are paying a hell of a lot more they any of you are to see it. Hey Mister D, how many Toronto shows have you been to live? That is what I though. I also laughed pretty hard when you acted like you said we cheered becuase we thought we were too cool. What a retarded thing to say lol. ya, we all were sitting there worrying about being cool. Have you ever been to a live show? Because you are acting like you haven't and that was a pretty silly thing to say, as if we were all trying to be cool as a collective? hahaha too funny!
Simon you can have all the back up you want but at least we were making noise. We were no where close to being quiet at any time, trust me. What is wrong with the wave? I thought it was funny as hell and the Bradshaw match was pretty boring so we got our moneys worth and entertained ourselves. it was mainly one section that tried for 10 mins to get the wave going and finally everyone gave in.
I personally think it is pretty stupid to judge a PPV based on the crowd alone as Simon is doing since he says if it wasn't for the crowd etc. Specially if you are not there and get to hear the comintating and are enjoying the matches. We wern't quiet during the matches and I am sure there are other people here who have been to shows and know that the crowd never really gets that quiet.
I had a blast and for me it was well worth the money. If you had of been there I am sure you would have been having a blast too.
Did the guy dancing on the Limo get on tv? That got a big huge crowd reaction. I managed to get a small Virgil chant going for Orlando lol.
But seriuosy, you had to be there in order to enjoy what the crowd was doing and to understand why.

No, I dont think he did.
Also, Ida. if you watch the replay (which you should if you can) the crowd was easily the strangest one ever for a big time PPV.
You may have been there and got a much different feeling about the show, but if you watched it on TV, like we usually do, you would have said the same thing.
Stop being such a Toronto suckball. lol
It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

Obviousy i know we gave a much different feeling but we also enjoyed ourselves! For what I paid to see it, I'll be damned if I should have to cheer for who you are "suppose" to cheer for specially if the fun of the crowd over takes you.
Some cheers had nothing to do with the match, like when the one side who kept trying to get the wave going would chant you suck when the other side wouldn't do it lol.
Not to mention we were pretty pissed that the divas wern't there live. That pissed me off big time. :x

boy, you really showed me
and yes, i have been to several live shows, including this year's Wrestlemania and I'm going again in October to No Mercy. so its not like I dont know what I'm talking about. I've been to shows with shitty crowds too, like King of the Ring 2001, so I can admit when a crowd i was a part of was sub-par
Like Simon said, this was easily the strangest crowd ever for a PPV. so much so, in fact, that the announcers mentioned it on numerous occassions and even called it "Bizarro World"
Also, just because I wasnt in the crowd doesnt mean I'm not allowed to judge. I hear so much about how great a crowd Toronto is but they sat on their hands throughout Wrestlemania 18 and then virtually ignored an enjoyable show last night to start silly chants and do the wave.
I hope you enjoyed spending 400 dollars to do the fucking wave
oh, and good luck getting another major PPV in the near future
Lol, yanno you sure talk a lot of shit for someone who has no clue what the crowd was like live. I would admit if the crowd was sub par but it wasn't that way live. Again, I know we were a different crowd but IT WAS FUN! I'm sorry, you are right, having fun is not what it is all about HAHA!
Did you ever think that maybe the mics just did a bad job on picking up on a lot of the crowd? We wern't anywhere close to being quiet. We didn't ignore anything. A lot of the matches were pretty short and it is hard to get into a match that doesn't last longer then 10 mins.
Yes we were bizzare but that doesn't mean we were sub par or sat on our hands lol.
I got my money's worth Mister D thanks! Also got an awesome chair too and got to see them up close and got some cool pics. There was some cool people sitting in my section and we all had a blast and were laughing and chating and cheering the whole night.
I am really sorry you are so bitter towards Toronto and didn't enjoy the PPV Mister D. I am sure you will get over it and not be scared for life lol.
actually, if you go back and read my original post you'll see that I did enjoy the show. In fact, I actually thought EVERY match was entertaining, including JBL-Taker and Hardy-Kane which several reviews I've read have shitted on
Ida, I dont think you are reading Me or Mister D's posts. We just simply said the crowd was acting very strange.
Hey have as much fun as you want, cheer for who you want, but at least have it make a little sense.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease just watch the rebroadcast of the PPV. You will notice the crowd just seemed weird.
Also, did anyone else see the guy with the gray hair in the front row? I wanted to dope slap that dude. He was giving laughs and looking at his friends like wrestling was the stupidest thing ever in the history of the world.
It's about time......now bring on his next fued....
Well if its about the show in general it kinda sucked. It did not have that "must see match" of previous editions of the PPV. Eddie/Angle was good but just not quite "it". Last year they the elimination chamber and Angle and Brock put on one of the matches of the year. The year before that HBK returned. Summerslam looked good on paper but failed in execution this year.
