No business like show business

Who knows the business more than anyong else?

It seems like Mick Foley would probably be number one. He understood that it's a requirement to put over another wrestler to keep the product (and himself) alive. He also seemed to be able to get into the heads of a lot of other wrestlers (if you've read his book you know what I mean).

I think Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart would also be candidates but for very different reasons.

Even though we most of us don't like it, Triple H has to be considered. The guy has been able to keep himself a top-player for going on 5 years, and during that time he's buried some guys and put some guys over while keeping himself on top in both cases. Same goes for the Undertaker.

Dude, you dont need to post to test it. It will change in any post you have ever done.

Now back to business.

I would say Vince McMahon maybe......just maybe.

If you are talking from which former or current wrestler knows the most, I would go with hmmmmmmmm........Prolly HHH. He has manipulated everyone to keep him at the top for roughly 6 years now. Who else has done that?

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....

Vince? I dont know if I should agree or disagree with that.

Or perhaps there is a difference between knowing about the business and keeping in tune with what the fans want.. Vince definately seems to be lacking in the latter department.

Vince knows a great deal about show business, but I'm not so sure about wrestling.

Yes, I know the arguments. However, remember the guy was given the best wrestling promotion along with a huge chunk of change to hire superstars like Mister T and Hulk Hogan.

No, I think Vince knows his key demographic well. Late teens/early twenties American male, likes a beer or two with a takeaway pizza and to watch WWE. Likes the occasional bit of T&A, and wants quite a few spots in a show.

If you get that, you don't need to know great deals about the business.

Vince wasn't handed the best promotion, he MADE it the best promotion...

As for knowing the business my pick would be Arn Anderson. He seemed to understand both his role and place within the business. He was a talented upper card worker that gave great matches/interviews regardless of his opponet. You never hear Arn complain about not getting a shot at the World Title or not being pushed this way, he just did his job and did it well. And from everything you read or hear today he does equally as good of a job behind the scenes today..

Hmmm, Arn Anderson is a very good choice actually. TP summed it up nicely.

I will still go with HHH overall. Again, who else has maintained their main event status longer in the last 10 years? I also give HHH a lot of credit for not missing much time at all since he joined the big boys.

It's about time......now bring on his next fued....
